To each his own. Many people disagree with you. Something doesn't become true simply because you say it does. Hey, i just recently saw that crit dmg does NOT apply to shaco's Q. This sounds odd, but there was clarification on this in the forums from devs. The reason behind this is that Shaco's Q is NOT a real crit...but rather just a basic 'bonus dmg' ability, even though i still think it says CRIT when he hits. I hope this helps. This is why i just go with Armor pen runes.

nice guide, helps alot with suggestions, with trial and error, tested the exp quints, you're almost guaranteed a positive score if you're half decent at shaco, cuz the extra dmg, and slow percent, and miss chance by your slow is like gaining a few dodge seals, movement speed, and ad quints, but later on it balances out, and you lose tat advantage, but while you do have that advantage, go gank the shit outta someone, get a kill, and you'll have an extra kill advantage, and get another item thanks

ooooooh so u lane when smite is not up? makes so much more sense, cuz my JiTb's dont rlly protect me well and im usually out of pots, and at low hp, and cant support my teamates in lane, whether its a good ganking opportunity, or to defend a pushed tower, while my other teamate b's to base. more shaco!! <3

Good video. I'm only level 19 right now with a few runes, I think AS, AP, and Mag Res, but I will definantly try out some of those masteries. Do you think at my level I should put most of my mastery points in Offense and a little on Defense? Also, do you think I should try jungling using the only runes I have atm? I've heard jungling with little runes is bad

Never bad. In fact, i recommend to jungle at as lower level as possible so that you can get better at it by the time you are higher. I have an account at exactly your level. Around there, i would definitely recommend getting Archaic Knowledge (it is a must have..) and in Utility the 6% exp bonus...if you can grab Sunder. They're all very important. Anything extra is just extra.

Also, you have to keep in mind that your attack speed runes at that level aren't that much. Imagine hitting someone with the little dmg you do as Shaco but very quickly. They have armor, so they already reduce it down to almost nothing on EVERY HIT. So you are hitting VERY little, but slightly more quickly. Or you can get the Armor pen (which IS better , check LoL forums if you need calculations) and do probably around 10%-20% more dmg PER HIT.

Alternatively, keep your AS and get the highest armor pen Tier 3 Quints you can right at lvl 20. It will balance it all out for you. Also, why magic resistance? It is the same as getting armor for him basically. You might as well stack more AS and AP with your glyphs since AP is primary for glyphs. Just my 2 cents. @spiritconsumer Thanks alot for the help, i'll try taking on the jungle as soon as they fix up the game so I can log in, i'd like to play a match with you some time to see how you roll with him . Ever since I got Shaco i've just been playing him as a laner, sometimes popping out to finish somebody off that is unaware because I felt I would get way outleveled in the jungle, it worked well but was very boring.

That seems to be a pretty average concensus about people using Shaco to jungle. However, if you want some fun, you do a hybrid like me. You ONLY jungle when smite is up...and then go straight back to lane. This is a perfect transition for people who would like to learn jungle, but are just starting out with it. Grab smite, run in smite something, and get back to lane. Also, if you go up top jungle and grab those buffs be sure to instantly try to gank someone with them. :) Cheers
