  • This channel is the STRAIGHT DOPE!! Thank you so much Arash and Sam!!!

  • thanks thanks thanks !!! :)

  • @respectwong

    he was a gymnast

  • Can you also do it with only one arm?

  • Is it much harder to do on rings because they are not static? Is the progression about the same?

  • @surfbaybe pretty much ANY exercise on rings is harder, if you learn it on rings and then go to the bar you will be perplexed how much easier it becomes all of a sudden

  • @surfbaybe every exercise you do on the bar are much more difficult on the rings.

  • God, it looks warm there.

  • so i just keep working on the tucked lever like that until I can do it? I was on a workout an hour ago and tried it but I couldn't do it very well. always work on pullups though so i guess I do that, and try the tucked lever once in a while?

keep posting more! you guys are beasts of muscle and its really helpfull videoes!

  • That hair...

  • 4:40 I was laughing like fuck

  • Awsome!

  • what is the best way to build up enough strength to do chin-ups? (feel really embarrased asking this but i have no idea and i'm not incredibly strong...)

  • @PanicSAFE just do some dead chin-ups , take chair or something under the bar , and go to up , and try hold so long as possible or just go slowly down , you must do this alot , but as you get strength then your able to do chin up :)

  • Only 1 question:

Is that body of yours only the result of Calisthenic training, or have you been lifting weights for some time?

  • @RespectWong He used to do gymnastics. And now he does his 'artofspin'. And the Calisthenics.

  • @DawgFL Hm oke. Thanks. Could you also tell me how long he has been doing gymnastics?

  • Hey Sam, do you mind if I ask how much pull ups you can do non-stop on a normal day? just wondering :)

  • Great tutorial Sam. I was just wondering, if we practice those basic exercises daily, how long will it take us to master the front lever?

  • @iKont272727 how long it takes to get the front lever (like with most things) totally depends on your personal fitness/strength level, weight and other factors. It's not gonna be the same for two persons. Just practice, practice, and if you're consistent you'll get it eventually. For you, it might take two weeks, or it might take two months. only you can find that out :)

  • @ToonstaTV Well, i could do around 15-20 pull ups in each set, but when it comes to my core, i usually ignore it. I guess i should start training my core. lol Thanks mate

  • Great tutorial, is a human flag tutorial planned for the future?

  • I noticed a couple of weeks ago that I can do a front lever. My workout consist of pull-ups, inverted rows and weighted push-ups... I did not train front specifically at all :)

  • @Kratoni for an instant or an actual hold? if you're doing it with proper form, your case is actually pretty rare

  • @byakuyakuchiki7

Actual hold. I think exercise such as this is not really much about the technique but about the strength(mostly core str) alone. You get strong enough and you should be able to do this.

  • @Kratoni oh i can do it (i have a video on my page), it's just that i had a similar experience where i could do a bent-arm short duration hold without training for it, but to actually get it crisp and controlled i had to put in a good few weeks of practice.

your workouts must be pretty aggressive to be able to do a front lever without practice!

    happy training!

  • Great video! I am "itching" to try it out!

  • he looks like a robot while swinging into the lever because of his amazing control

will definitly working on this to learn it !

  • Keep it coming Mr Sam, good stuff

  • I TURNIKMAN FROM RUSSIAN. Я ТУРНИКМЕН ИЗ РОССИИ.

  • good information , interesting video -_- 10q u SP

  • i read an article on yahoo yesterday, the author was from men's health, but it said exercises that you do when you don't keep the spine in the natural shape shouldn't be done. as in the rounded back position, for crunches and what not, just wondering your thoughts?

  • @rawrnumber7 I'm not sure if this was an open question or not, but I'm going to reply anyway. I think it's a bit far to say that any exercise that involves rounding the back shouldn't be done, there are some where you want the back to round. For examples, if doing a crunch you want the back to round, if you try to keep the back straight in this you're not only at risk of injury but you're not working the muscles you want to.

  • @rawrnumber7 Squats and deadlifts on the otherhand are examples on when you must make sure that you never round the back. Basically it all comes down to what exercise you're doing, and if you're not sure about form for a particular exercise find someone qualified to teach you the correct form

  • Awesome, great tutorial!

  • congratz on the 200th video. Also very good video, thumbs up Sam well done :)

  • YAY Master Yoda is back!

  • how do you warm out to do these exercises ?
