  • Korg developed three synthesizers which were branches off their flagship Trident. They were given the names Lambda, Delta and Sigma. They all had similar hardware but were much less flexible.

  • Our School has one :0 tried it out today... it's so awesome :D

  • I would kill for this. I would kill children for this.

  • @DetrialTetrial for 700 dollars?

  • @DetrialTetrial Why not instead, forego the risk of later guilt or the chance of getting caught for murder, by saving up the money, and buying the one off ebay. Also it will help you get a girlfriend and future wife, without them worrying your gonna kill your own offspring for Synthgear.

In the end , its not that this is such a great peice of equipment, its that people are retarded nowadays.

  • Since the Trident is expensive, this seems like the next best thing with that amazing sound! Want this pretty bad, lol

  • I have a Korg Delta for sale. Anyone know where to post it?

  • @sapple64 how much do you want for it?

  • i just found one. and I had a korg sigma as well. not sure if I like it. BUT, it does reminded me of the sound from the Human Leagues Keep Feeling Fascination for some reason..

  • @seifukusha I Think Human league used one all over the Dare Album and on their track called seconds

  • i had one of these in 1984. I thought it was a piece of junk then, and listening to it now -- well, it still is. I wish I could have afforded a trident back then!

  • Hi

I'm sorry I sold it the other day. I won't tell you how much because you'll kick yourself!

    Best wishes

  • @wolfmanjock Boooooooo!!! lol

  • Anybody want to buy one?

  • Great Demo. LOL .

  • I've had this synth back in 2007, not really RARE, but you don't see them often. Mine had a built in ibanez chorus (done by the previous owner).

Good for bass sounds, and the strings are nice, but I found it pretty useless, cool looks though !!!

  • does it really require that much effort to properly spell "them"? perhaps the most obnoxious part is when you say "DISS only string presets on THIS synth?". jesus christ man, at least be consistent with your illiteracy; reading that gave me a fucking headache

  • the last bit? is there such a thing as infinate sustain on this machine?

  • I love this synth and I bought it new back in 1980. Advertised as a 'string synth', it does way more than just that, as can be heard on the video here. From string sounds, to funky, to creepy and scary, this little synth packs a real punch. Great post. Thanks!

  • It's really a Trident Lite.

  • Thanks, I'll try and get some more info on the net.

  • whats those first chords?...i love it...u need to make music..but if u tell me i might make beat outa dem

  • G_maj - F_maj - a_min

  • @golafs Hmmmm....I thought it was in fact: Dmin(2nd inversion), Cmaj(2nd inversion), Gmaj.

  • @937emotion : I must have been on drugs when I wrote the other chords ;)

no but ok, I belive that this is definitely correct:

    :: Fmaj(1st_inv) - Cmaj(2nd_inv) - Gmaj - Fmaj(1st_inv) - Amin - Gmaj ::

  • @golafs Cool. I confused the Fmaj 1st inv with Dmin 2nd inv(I was hearing Dmin). It actually sounds good both ways. Alternating back & forth when you start the progression over again at the 5th bar.

  • @treeZon1 how about learning to write first?

  • i waaaanntt so bad

  • i've got broken pieces in mine that rattle around but make the broken thing sound amazing.

  • fat little korg synth from 1979, nice!
