  • Autothrottle is supposed to be only used during approaches, according to manual ;)

  • so can you take off with any plane at any airport

  • @thejoeymoey123 is that a challenge? or a question about how many airports and aircraft are in Flightsim? :P I'd suspect the ability to get an A380 out of a tiny bush airstrip made of gravel and 30 feet wide may be... not possible.

  • I done all to start. I came to that point the engines are running and instruments are set. But how do I unlock the throttle controls. Please Help Me.

    Thanks ;)

  • yeah i heard you dont extend the flaps before taxi. Only on the runway.

  • @Gr3g251 Trim buttons as standard. What you set up in Part 1 for trim. Or Numpad 7/1

  • Fantastic Tutorials ! Many thanks. PT TU-154 for sure is one of the most advanced and complex FS add-on plane. The great part is that it is free ! Would love to see some ILS approach videos as well !! Cheers

  • can someone tell me why i dont have russian gpws?

  • This is a great video and it has thought me how to fly the flight sim version of the tu154.

But its place is NOT HERE..

  • why is it's place not here?

  • I didn't understand, is there an autothrottle that changes the engines N1 so that it matches up a selected speed? Or is it like the ERJ's?

  • which airport it is and what scenery u use?

  • bie bie.

  • the flaps in a ty 154 make it up bevor you taxi on the runway not on park position its no cessna ore boeing ;)

  • Excellent video- thanks!

I couldn't get off the ground with the manual alone.

  • Hi! good video 5/5 thx but is it hard or the same to land and to turn your engines off you do same thing what you do to turn them on only opposite? only a little different right?

  • Oh nvm...

  • My sequence is 1: Turn on APU (during taxi back) 2: Turn off Bleed air from Engine #2 3: Park and Set Parking Brake 4: Turn off the 3 main hydraulic systems 5: Turn off all 3 engines 6: Switch (quickly) to APU for Electronic power 7: Turn on air bleed from the APU 8: Turn off all the fuel pumps 9: Double check you are depressurised, open cockpit side window 10: Open doors 11: start shutting down all the avionics/overhead etc
  • Are you a real pilot because you know so much!

  • I have 23 hours in my Logbook, all on Cessna C172's, and all before 2004 :P Did the 4 solo flights and 1 area solo. So Real pilot, but only initial training and a fair while ago. simply ran out of money and needed to do other things, like move out of home, etc.

  • Wow! but how do you know how to fly this aircraft?

  • Reading the manual and spending a good 3 or 4 weeks doing boring things like starting and shutting down engines, doing highspeed taxi runs, circuits, and playing with the GPS for a few hours on the ground.

  • brill video, keep em up!

  • Nice Video-Tutorials you did!

But: In the real TU-154M it wasn´t allowed to switch on Pitot Heat until about 3 minutes before takeoff (depending on temp) and I think you didn´t put enough pressure on the press-system (4-6 units needed before takeoff)

in your earlier video. Switching from HBY (NVU) to CHC (SNS) is only allowed over 400 metres (as activation of AP).

No Autothrottle allowed in cruise only for approach.

I guess you already know this.

  • Fantastic, thanks!

  • Couldn't understand what you were saying because of the engine noise. Nice video tho.
