  • are you saying THESE or DEES

  • my pc has a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E1200 @ 1.60GHz, 1603 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

and i want to upgrade it to 2.60GHz can i doo that ?

    help

  • @Callyl96 Your processor is very old and if you want ot buy intel core i3 or i5 it might not work because of the very new technology and it can have possibly different socket.

  • @Mindaugas7100 Thanks for the info im mase as well get new pc :(

  • @Callyl96 your welcome, i suggest u get 8gigs of rams, try 1333 or 1600gz ones, intel core i7 4 core procesor or i5 4 core(but obviuosly i7 will be superior to i5 regardless of speed of each of the cores), Any hard drive with 500+ gigs will do very good and if you have decent amount to spare take Nvidia gefroce any card which u can afford, if you have left no more than 100£(140$ ish) Amd Radeon hd 6000's series, one of those should do you great.

  • @Callyl96 IF you got any general question about pc, feel free to ask, the most imformation i know about are graphics card and processors so if you would like to to recomend one i surely can.

  • @Mindaugas7100 hey i wanted to know if i could change my processor to i5 i got 2g ram geforce 9500 gs

and right now dual core 1.6 ghz

  • @Knightmares100 Well now, i would suggest u get new pc because ur graphics card is quite old, processor is slow and you have low amount of rams, u should get wnidows 7 also for your new pc.

  • @Mindaugas7100 listen i dont wanna be rude but i dont care what you think because i will put 2 more gb of ram and i wanna change processor aswell soon the graphic so just tell me will it work and sry i changed my mind i want bulldozer tell me if it will work ?????

  • @Knightmares100 I do say yes it work but then againt it won't be as efficient as they tell to be because of older motherboard. Then to answer fully yes it will work.

  • @Mindaugas7100 ok thank you but is there a way to change the motherboard if there is can you please find me a link

  • @Knightmares100 Well, for the motherboard i don't know that much but look at your bulldozer socket type and you can look for motherboards( i mean take the motherboard same socket type as the proccesor.). Also since you plan to add 2 gigabytes of ram, look for motherboard which can contain 8gigabytes. Also sorry i almost forgot, ofcourse there is a way, very simply imfract, umplug antything that is connected to her and then remove it, then plug peripherals back.

  • @Mindaugas7100 thanks man! you are really helpfull and sry i em a newbie but they say bulldozer fit in this motherboard 880GMH/U3S3 could you search for me and see if its a good one and if its true please and another question does a motherboard fit in every pc case

  • @Knightmares100 Theorically, thats right it should fit into every pc.

asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=880GMH/U3S3 the website that tells ur motherboards information.

  • @Mindaugas7100 page not found but if you already know about the motherboard what do you think is it a good one will it use all the effects on bulldozer as they say??

  • @Knightmares100 Cant find our comment about the new motherboard but i think you should get as best(new) as possible because it will give higher perfermance and it's fact.

  • @Mindaugas7100 Asrock 870iCAFE R2.0 this one is newer i think which do you recomand Asrock 870iCAFE R2.0

  • @Knightmares100 I don't know that much abuot motherboard but fact remains on all product, higher quality will gives higher performance and i believe asus is better than the other one.

it's same to copare the CPU's like intel>>>>>>>>>>AMD on performance cause intelcore i7 990x cost aout 750£ while amd atlon t1100(both have 6 cores and over 3gz of speed) cost 230-250£ but Intel absolutly outmatch them in every single aspect but price and ofcourse superior quality.

  • @Mindaugas7100 and then tell me will it take all effects?on the asus motherboard or do i need a better one

  • @Knightmares100 Your getting little wrong, all mother board would take full effect but they simple be not as efficient as better one, what im trying to tell you the newer and higher class motherboard will allow your processor to give best performance it can, so technically if asus is newer and higher class it's more worth of having that other one.

  • @Knightmares100 The asus would be higher quality i think and i wouldn't be suprized if it's mroe expensive than asrock.

  • @Knightmares100 it is a new one and please tell me will it this one give all the effects from the bulldozer cuz it is the same socket if it does not can you tell me which one will give full effect of the bulldozer

  • @Knightmares100 and yet again tell me which motherboard will work for amd bulldozer 8 cores

  • No thermal gel?

  • I broke my Intel i7 ultimate that i payed £700 for, thanks to you..

  • @tehnoobtune HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @fr0nage Although, I'm rich enough to buy another one. SPECS:

    i7 ultimate

    win 7 ultimate 64 bit

    16GB ram

    GT 490 graphics

    Basically, owned.

  • @tehnoobtune sad

  • @tehnoobtune Poor Guy

  • @0neMinecraft Bwayh, I'm Rich UMAD 10x processor compatible SERVER worth about £20k BOOM

  • Nice tutorial man very well spoken and thorough.

  • I;m new to this kind of stuff, would it be possible to replace an i5 with an i7 Quad-core on a laptop?

  • I need to change from a Intel Celeron M to an Intel Pentium 4 out of my brothers computer...Would it be worth the time to spend on switching?

  • Ok, I have a weird question. One pc which I bought years ago with dual core 2,4 GHz was not capable to run many programs because the cpu usage was high (50-90%). I had no trojans, viruses etc in my harddrive. So I bought a new cpu 3.0 GHz dual core with 6 mb cache, but haven't installed it yet. One dude said that if I installed the new cpu ít wouldn't make my computer run smoother and that the cpu wouldn't do any difference at all. Is he right?

  • Thanks i didnt even know where my processor was LOL

  • Do you think I need to change my 500W 80+ PSU if I want to do this change?

    Intel Core i3 530 2.93 ghz

GTX 460 'Goes Like hell' 800mhz

    8GB DDR3 665mhz RAM

To Intel Core i5 quad (2.66 ghz)?

Must i change PSU, or can I use the one I have right now?

  • hello dude....i have dell optiplex gx620 series spec...motherboard intel pentium 4HT socket lga755 fsb 800mhz...........can i change processor intel core 2 duo e4700 or intel dual core e5700

  • hye

  • can Single core to Dual Core??

  • i have a pentium 4 3,40 ghz and i need to change into a dual core 3,16, this is the same thing?

  • Does nobody use AMD CPUs here?!?!?

  • G-spot ?

  • btw if your changing you cpu dont you need to change your fan? like what if u needed a better fan?

  • so you don't have to reinstall your OS right?

  • @thebloodzone2 Depends on what kind of mother board you have.

  • i have a Dual core 2.6 Ghz processor!! so do you think its good for the new games?! or i should by a better one?

  • @zejdkoco1 its okay but not that good like my laptop is dual core 2.10 ghz so maybe i know mine can run team fortress 2 and spore fallout 3 and gta san adreas resident evil 4 and garrys mod and other games so yours might be able to run it my best info for u is to upgrade the graphics card or ask for some parts like at office depot or somthing were they sell computers il send you a pm were to get this stuff so yea good luck

  • @zejdkoco1 Im building a gaming desktop and i was recommended a CPU of 2.7 or better of gaming... Im am buying the Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor 2.93GHz 1066MHz

  • @CrystalGhostStudios ok thx so in few months im going to buy a new, i can play some new games, COD Black Ops, but in medium quality, so i will change it in few months! i have to change my video card too, (my comp is old)

    but thx for the help!!!

  • @zejdkoco1 You need to buy a better one, I recommend Core i3 550 3.2GHz Socket 1156

  • ok you should see for your processor speed only. i suggest you to check on canyourunit (type this on google you'll certainly find it) it will tell you what hardware is good or not for the game

  • now anyone!

What part of my computer do i have to change in order to fix this problem i have:

When i tried splinter cell conviction it started with max graphics and it was really laggy so i turned the graphics down a bit so it didn't lag anymore, but the game is slow, when i move my mouse the cursor is falling behind,

Is this my graphic card's fault or processor ur wut?

Yes i'm kinda noob so i don't know shit :)

  • @seg122 i would say its the processor since you didn't see any change of speed while changing the graphics. Some games also require more RAM to load everything.

  • @FugereLongboarder

well, the mouse is reacting faster with lower graphics but still not a 100%. i also got 4gb ram

  • @xMackan750x no at least a 2.4

  • he should try to say "this"

  • Why didn't you use Fraps?

  • hi i have intel pentium 4 3.06 ghz can i change it to celeron d 3.2

  • and i want to ask what happen if i dont put the thermal paste?

  • How to know witch sockel I have? plz answer fast :D

  • Nice vid man 5/5 and ''thx''

  • G-Spot lol

  • I need to change my

Processor to a dual core 2.4Ghz

  • @punjabiboy99 i need to change my dual core 2.4GHz to a quad core lol?

  • @punjabiboy99 Maybe your socket wont fit with the new dual-core.

  • @pentchoandpatrick hey i wanna change my processor so now i have a AMD Sempron(tm) processor 2600+ 1.60 Ghz so i wanna to change into Intel celeron(tm) 2.4 GHz !! can i change it ?? pls reply

  • @pentchoandpatrick you need to tell

type of motherboard to see if it support it

and the socket if it will fit in

  • My pc has an old AMD processor and i mean old (AMD Athlon XP 1.917 GHz) can i still change this? or is it not worth it?

  • @jewlzorjay personnally i would say that you might want to buy a new computer because the other parts might not work with the new amd processor you willl install

  • I'm still scared to change my athlon to phenom :|

  • i'll admit your voice is kind of annoying but still nice tutorial. thanks mate
