  • she is not teaching them to pray in tongues no, she is praying for them to receive the Holy Spirit according to God’s Word read Acts chapter 2, 3 and the evidence is “speaking in tongues,” please understand that one can receive the Holy Spirit now by faith because He has already been given..you receive by faith `Pastor `P

  • you know what people.... the first sign to know if you are baptized in spirit is through speaking in tongues. read shepherd's staff people and do not just comment right away. they are not teaching this people, they are just guiding them. hope you get it soon men.

  • LOL. U PPL NEED CHRIST! READ UR BIBLE!

  • This is not Biblical. Never once in the Scripture did the apostles or any men of God teach someone how to speak in tongues. Speaking in tongues is not something that can be taught. Its God speaking through us, saying what we may not understand(unless he gives us the knowledge).

Please stop doing this to people, just because people try to play a game of Simon with you speaking in tongues does not mean they are baptized in the spirit.

  • You are wrong. For her teaching is entirely biblical. Jesus is the one who baptizes in the Holy Spirit (John.1,33), but we must pray for to get the Holy Spirit by ourselves (Luke11,13). And you receive the Holy Spirit by faith. And if we pray and believe that the Holy Spirit gives words, and we notice that words comes to us, we can speak it out.

But we have to open our mouth by ourselves and even speech out ourselves.

  • Some seems to believe that God must make them unconscious and forces them to open their mouth and speak out, but such thinking is not biblical. God never forces anybody to receive his Spirit or some gifts from him.

It’s not true that the apostles never teaches about how to get the Holy Spirit.

For example in Acts 19,2-6 Paul do so.

  • @Ftureman we are not forced, yeah, but we should ask for it.

  • @Ftureman my dear brother i didnt need to open my mouth and speak in tongues myself. But when i was baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of 11 i was singing praises to the Lord when it happened, i wasnt even expecting it, nor was i aware i was speaking in tongues. Im not criticizing Adonica nor her husband, but im saying the Bible says the Holy Spirit gives us utterance :) .

  • @Ftureman Yes we ask Jesus to recieve the Holy Spirit. But it will happen on His time, or when someone with the anointing of God lays hands on you, like it happened in the Bible. :)

  • excellent meeting
