I compared Wet n Wild (drug store make-up for $2.99) to a Clinique ($21.99) eye makeup remover solvent and guess what-- Wet n Wild was way better. I made a video doing one eye with drug store and the other with Clinique and you can clearly see how wet n wild was better.

@mollyshamieh Yeah it is thick and kind of heavy to me. But i like very light feeling foundation. It would hide all of your problem areas because of how thick it is. to cover the spots use a blue/green concealer cover girl makes a really good one. then put maybelline 24 hour concealer over and that should take care of it all:)

Does the Revlon colorstay cover up blemishes very good? I've been looking EVERYWHERE and I can never find a foundation or cover up that will reduce redness, it will just make my face look cakey. :(

@vuhies2424 It's one of the best liquid foundations I've tried..I have a few acne scars and larger pores but it really covered up everything & my skin just looked so flawless! But unfortch, I'm allergic to many drugstore foundations & Colorstay happened to be one of them :0( I got really bad cystic acne from it. I suggest you look up the ingredients or just try it on a small area of your face first! Drugstores usually let you return opened cosmetic items so it doesn't hurt to try.

@vuhies2424 Unfortunately I don't know..I'm sorry. I just know that my skin gets puffy & have cystic acne when I use foaming cleansers, certain moisturizers & most liquid foundations. There are so many ingredients in the products I've tried so I haven't narrow it down yet. I did purchase Loreal True Match foundation today & it's quite nice - I tested & didn't break out from it. It's a good foundation too but not as thick & full coverage as Revlon Colorstay. :0) Rimmel's foundation is pretty nice

If Nyx was more expensive and/or put into gimmicky packaging, a lot more people would be into it.

Quite frankly, though, drug store products suck (and they're really not even that cheap). I have an eyeliner I like, but 1st time I sharpened it, it was like the stick of color started falling out of the wood pencil part. Or mascara that seemed fine, but then made my eyelashes start falling out. Again, these products were both near $10, I'd rather pay $10 more than waste my time and money.

Really good lip glosses I think that stay are Hard Candy Plumping Serum. I found it at Walmart in a variety of colors and they are sticky feeling but they stay really well on the lips over any sort of lipstick.... Hardcandy actually has a lot of different makeup items that I think are worth it. But that's just my experience.

@EmilyLovesMakeup99 Oops I made a mistake! It's actually called NPSet. The writing on the eyeliner is really hard to read and I thought it said NYCSet. It's only sold at Target so I don't know how great of a brand it is but it's worth the $15 I spend on it. It has jojoba oil in it so it glides on really nicely.

I disagree with your statement about drugstore eyeliner. Eyeliner (and eyeshadow) is the only makeup I spend extra money on. Covergirl and Maybelline eyeliner smudges and comes off after about an hour for me. I use NYC Set in Paris which is sold at Target and retails for $15. I also love MAC eyeliner in Smolder.
