a mashup is the bastardized form of the word 'versus' which implies two or more original songs combined. this is a remix, the original elements of one song are combined with new elements. please understand the correct nomenclature before you attack me. as for me and my knowledge- ive been remixing for 10 years, and the very first step is determining the tempo(timing) and root key(note) of the original. it is critical to know or determine this in order to abide by musical standards.

that's what a lot of dnb is - syncopated parts. this one is no exception. if you want other songs with wierd syncopation, check out death - empty words and the way the words flow with the rest of the song. it sounds fucked, but it works in musical theory, and if you note it out, im certain the numbers add up right.
