I think he did a great job of it. But , hey, it is not easy to get the Beatles' Liverpudlian accent(it's quite unique even to my non-English ears). That includes all other actors impersonating them in any film. Give them a break.

this guy is a good actor. but FUCK OFF.. he's ''TOO OLD ''...TO PLAY JOHN LENNON.. the lennon in Naked is 26,27 28 29. not some 46 year old try- to be in his 20s.. it doesnt work.. plus the forking HAIR WRONG...as are some of the gear ECCLESTON is got up in... LIKE THA THING IN THE SWIMING POOL.. jesus does that look lame... and that get up out in the street... CHRIST theres more books and photos of john lennon than CHRIST himself.. NO REALLY a hard days night' -to get it right.. LAZY FORKERS

@EnglishTeaDuck *waves at everyone* :D I completely agree with you, Ruth. Every press report I have seen about this event either misquoted him or managed to make it sound like he was terrified/reluctant about having to undress. When you see the vid, it's obvious he didn't express it like that at all. Now I'll always take any article about "gloomy/grumpy Chris" with a big pinch of salt.

he is the coolest guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not only is he a great actor, but very down to earth and funny!!! i work in the industry, most movies take 6-8min weeks, so 18 days is amazing!!!!!
