  • I have one of these targets. I havent tried shooting it with a slug yet but it's taken about 500 rounds of 223 and another 500 or so rounds of various pistol calibers and its holding up pretty well. I'm new to the channel and I'm enjoying the videos> Keep up the good work.

  • @jardo531 Glad to have you along. The ol' orange ball really responds to the 12 ga slugs but it really tears the poor thing apart. Shooting it from the hip with birdshot is fun because you need a center hit to make it really take off.

My first impression of the Impact Seal Target was that I had purchased an overpriced cheesy gimmick but the thing comes in real handy when I don't have a lot of time to drag out the steel targets and just want to pop a few rounds real quick.

  • 5:00 FLINCH!!!! :)

  • Shoot those damn crows.. Perfect cover in the wooded area.. Nice vid btw that shogun is sick.!

  • @Tristy1987 Glad you like it, if Glock made a polymer shotgun this is what it would look and feel like.

  • That is a damn beautiful shooting backstop

  • It's easer to deal with than things like a microwave. Now, I'm stuck with a busted up microwave.

  • @mikeb1444 Shot up a VCR with .22 CB shorts down in my basement one boring winter. What a mess that was.

  • Man thanks for putting this up. My granpa hunts and I might start hunting to get a feel for it. This kind of inspires me.

  • @litlos1994 Whether for hunting or just to shoot, getting into guns is always a positive experience. It's even more fun if you take a hunter's safety course or any other formal training. It is very rewarding to take on the great responsibility of firearms handling and know that you are doing it correctly. Have fun with it.

  • That looks like a lot of fun. Beats the old coffee can i use. I might have to look into getting one of those for kicks!

  • Not only for the dog but fun play toy for the owner too. LOL

    :D

  • That's a pretty kickass lake spot you've got there, and the reactive ball was "meh". However, I did really like the vid, so thank you.

  • @2ndAmendmentable Thank you for mentioning it, keeps the camera rolling. I'll see if I can maybe come up with a more deserving video subject.

  • Great camera action. Much better with the slugs.

  • @72cmcinc Thank you. The 12 Ga. slug's power is widely under-appreciated, my black and blue shoulder tells me so.

  • good stuff man.. saw those and never really knew what to think.. with your set up. its a fun little target

  • @lskw1 It's something different to shoot at, the slugs really tore it up, though. Glad you stopped by again, thank you.

  • BREAKING BALLS! Cornholio would probably approve this video.

Great demo and excellent choice of firearms. Slo-mo was awesome, especially on the shell ejection. IMO, this is a great feature video to run 24/7 on your channel.

  • @tnoutdoors9 Oh, The Great Cornholio from Lake Titicaca?

The feedback is appreciated, especially when it's coming from my consultant and technical adviser.

  • Nice video! I got's to get me one of those targets. Looks like loads of fun!

  • @Roberthurz Actually, shooting this thing up against the hill was really neat. It would be a problem if the range had other shooters on it, "Um, guys, can I go down range and get my ball again", would get kind of old after the fourth or fifth trip behind the dirt! I bet your .44 lever gun would be fun to use on one of these in that wide open space where you shoot.

  • awesome slo.mo with the shotgun, figured after the last vid you would extract revenge on mr orange..agreed diff. meaning even here..maybe the crows would like to cornhole mr hawk..now thats some brass stretchers right there in the 44 nicely done...

  • @phishst1cks Mr. St1cks, you are the YouTube comment master, as always! You killed me again!

These Hornady XTP hand-loads were made for my 3" 629 Trail Boss and extract easily in that revolver. I'll have to lighten my powder charge a few tenths.

  • There is something wrong with your balls...

  • @Skragg101 Well, yea, there's only one there.

  • Set up a cornhole board on the other side of the berm and you've got yourself a hybrid sport!

  • @TheGunEnthusiast67 Whoa, cornhole?! I had to Google that term, it meant something entirely different in the town where I grew up. Not a bad idea you have there.. I mean... everybody keeps there pants on when they play that game, right? (:-o

  • @theKGB65 Everybody I've ever played with was fully clothed, lol. I guess the pc name for it would be "tailgate toss" but most people just say cornhole.

  • @theKGB65 Nothing like inviting some friends over, cracking some beers before starting up a spirited game of cornhole. Good clean fun!

  • You may be on to something. Can you imagine "44 magnum shuffle board" or "slug golfing"? Good editing by the way.

  • @GothicGlocks Thanks, yea, .44 Mag shuffle board! You should promote that, old folks will be standing in line to get into the retirement homes that have that game!
