Jagex has recently said that using the + key to click like that is against the rules since holding down + can generate constant clicking. I'm not sure if setting it to withdraw a certain number of items would be possible anyway.

I've followed everything is this guide perfectly but when I use mouse keys after my keys "jump" from right (6) to left (4) my keys will start to gradually move to the left a bit more each time after I push 6 and 4 each time causing them to move of what I want them to be on how can I fix this?

In mouse->pointer options you can select to enhance pointer precision or not. Changing that may fix the problem. Clicking more slowly can also work sometimes.

I've toggled with the top speed, and even at the highest option, the interval is no more than 1/10 of an inch (it's barely noticeable with anything lower than top speed). I'm on an xp laptop, if that matters. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

i have a toshiba laptop and can only get this to work holding down the "fn" key.

simple fix is using weight or taping down the "fn" key but i have problems with that....

Is there another possible solution any1 know of? i've used mousekeys before easily on desktops but currently stuck with Toshiba laptop.

Ok my Computer went insane and I have been pressing on some button while having mousekeys on.

Now when I click (5) on my laptop i double click. Down in toolbar there is a picture of a mouse, which shows up when i use mousekeys normally it highlights the left click, but now it highlights both.

Do you know how to switch back to 1 click again?

I looked at Apple's site and it says that for OS X 10.5 at least you can set on mousekeys in universal preferences. Take a look in there for your particular OS.

i dont understand...i used mousekeys for like a year and they were working perfectly fine. I quit rs for a couple of months and now i cant use them for dropping, they either go on "use" or "examine". I tried every possible mix of mousekeys speed and mouse sensivity, but it still never jumps on "drop". It is faster if you've got the right settings, and it is practical for many things in Runescape. I think it's faster if you set the 3 keys you use (f1 f2 f34 for me) right next to eachother so you can just roll your fingers and it drops and item. Pressing f4 and f5 brings me to the top of the next column in my inventory, repeat.

i've figured out how to make the mouse jump. but it jumps different everytime.

this is much slower than before imo. it's akward pressing the keys and right clicking and holding ctrl then pressing 2 then pressing 5.

It does take some practice to get quick with mousekeys but they are really good once you're used to them.

If you have sticky keys enabled you shouldn't have to hold down ctrl manually.

To make the mouse jump you need to make sure that the box "press ctrl/shift to speed up/slow down mouse keys" is checked off and then make sure ctrl is held down with sticky keys.

if mousekeys are enabled then pressing 5 on the numberpad should make the mouse click.

It might be easier to test by testing the number 2 to make the mouse move. Try holding down 2 because the mouse might just be moving very slowly.

You may have to have fn held down depending on what kind of keyboard you have. Normal keyboards are pretty cheap if you want to try out an external usb one for mousekeys.

No, thats ok ty for the help but on laptops it is the "i" key, when i looked closely at my keyboard the "i" had a 5 ontop of it, which is suppose to be the num pad 5 on normal keyboards. Ty again and now i can stun in peace :P
