Football, focuses on the team. Soccer focuses on the player playing in a team. In football, you are told what play to run in a situation, someone does the thinking for you. In Soccer, there is no play, people get on the field and when shit happens you, the player, has to decide what to do. Scientists are aware of the sheer force of water to shape land - and i do believe there much evidence to support THE ICE AGE being a contributing factor to massive amounts of water running off or being released very quickly at times like a dam breaking open - think about it - If a huge portion of North America was covered in slow melting ice any time it rained that spot would be like a channel for the biggest flash flood in the U.S. it would receive the runoff from 1,000's of miles worth of rain
One more thing, other countries already have football. We are the only country that calls it soccer. The increase in average height over the past 200 years does not have a genetic component, therefore it is not evolution as it has nothing to do with passing on and inheriting traits. It is mostly because of high protein diets

This is not true. Short people are just as reproductively successful as tall people, the increase in height is not the result of any kind of selection; natural, sexual or artificial. No selction = no evolution.

Interesting that you chose an "experiment" to disprove science; problem is that the experiment is not scientific (no controls for random variables (soil consistency, porosity, etc.), your starting definitions are false (e.g., all rivers have deltas, etc.)...may more flaws. Hey, how but doing an experiment to DISPROVE the six day creation myth, or Noah's Ark myth, or the Joshua myth (stopping the sun in the sky)...I challenge you to do this...but learn how to do a proper scientific experiment.

Tall people are not being 'selected for'. Short people have as many kids as tall people, thus the increase in average height is NOT evolutionary in cause. It is due to much improved diet and healthcare.
If you know so much about evolution, how come you couldn't figure that one out yourself?

@sparky3489 All evolution is change, but not all change is evolution, get it? Its like all triangles are shapes, but not all shapes are triangles. Evolution specifically regards 'genetic' differences, or in other words, 'traits' that can be passed on in reproduction. The increase in average height over the past 200 years does not have a genetic component, therefore it is not evolution as it has nothing to do with passing on and inheriting traits. It is mostly because of high protein diets

@sparky3489 What you are saying is that tall people have been having more kids than short people over the last 200 years and are therefore spreading the 'tall' allele of the 'height' gene around and increasing the frequency of that allele in the population. This is not true. Short people are just as reproductively successful as tall people, the increase in height is not the result of any kind of selection; natural, sexual or artificial. No selction = no evolution.

If we grew in average height by the percentage you suggest (which if people 4ft tall on average grew to 6ft tall on average in 200yrs, that's a 50% increase) every 200 years, how short were we 1 million years ago when the first modern humans appeared? I'll tell you how short: about the size of an electron.
