The children of high income blacks have lower IQs than the children of poor whites. Why, if the former have a favourable environment? Because of the genetic law of regression towards the mean: high IQ people from a low IQ group (like blacks) have children with lower IQs than themselves. It's nature's way of ironing out extremes.
