  • You and I both know Brian will argue about anything..

  • Great video, played today Naples Fl. I have been trying this for weeks and just can't do it consistently. I have zero power in my iron play. I need a mental image to begin the down swing that will help me strike the ball with a "forward leaning shaft" hands ahead of club headm, the "cupped left wrist" at the target. If you could refer me to a PGA professional here in Naples, Fl. it would be very much appreciated. Thanks for the great vid, Lou.

  • @lji5252 Hi Lou, Go see John Carroll, Naples, Fl. 239 860 8470

  • wow an other great training aid thank you it works when there is any sun hahaha ( not to often in The Netherlands)

  • lol so much for your boy MANZELLA

  • @ALEXANDJACOB1 I like Brian's research and thoughts about the release, but I still train guys with this drill as it gets their sequence to work in a way that gets the club landing in the correct quadrant. It's tough to argue with the success of this drill.

  • Great drill as always. Question....Do you want your hands to pass the shadow on the driver as well?

  • @armytriguy I don't teach "this" drill with a driver. The release is a different feel. Way more sweepy.

  • @armytriguy Thanks for the question. The irons and the driver are different feels. The net result is that the hands will pass the dowel, but you don't aim it as you would with a short iron.

  • Thank you Martin. Just what I was asking you about.

  • kill whitey!

  • Looks like you are enjoying that Phx winter weather, I think I saw a speck of a cloud off in the distance! For better players with reasonably educated hands do you think pivot issues are a result of issues like this video, low point control? I see tons of stall in pivots (mine included) and am just wondering if its something ingrained due to impact.

  • @gmbtempe Come on out one day. Let's hit some balls. I'm at the PGA Show this coming week, but have time most days I don't have a school.
