The point of why everyone loves the show so much is because it adds comedy to such a dark idea, and makes you feel strangely understanding to Dexter (lol kinda scary), this just seems very one dimentional though you know.....

Kyle Baker created the graphic novel, that's quite an accomplishment everyone is doing one this days, pretty much revolutionized the comic book industry. Dexter is an awesome show so it stands to reason this web series will be the same.

I love the idea that these were created, the ideas, the art work etc everything is great EXCEPT the animation. its very... bad... I think had they taken a little more time to animate these they'd have a much better life to them.

As it is, its a lot of zoom and uncleanly cut apart symbols which do an injustice to the fine art work of the illustrators.

You should know that only the first season was based on the books... The next ones have an original story line...

That's not actually completely true. Season one WAS the only season to follow the first novel's storyline but subsequent seasons did use elements from the next two novels. Season two used the Dokes stalking Dexter story and introduced the Lundy-Deb romance and Season three used the Dexter-Rita engagement used in the second and third novel

Wow.. I actually had hope for this one, but it sucks almost as much as the "Dark Defender" mini-series.

And it also contradicts the show :S It says the sniper is his first trophy when both the series and the book state that his first (human) kill was the nurse that was poisoning Harry, "Perfect Nurse".

dude....u dont pay attention do you? his first TROPHY is the sniper, his first KILL is the nurse! Understand the difference and then comment... Furthermore he said it at the beginning: "dozens of kills so far and nothing do relate me to them. No trophys no nothing" or something like that

Sick... is the queasy image of dexter. He's literally a saint except for the obvious fact of him being a serial killer. I assume authors had to somehow balance the character not to meet with audiences disapproval but that's just disappointing.

Personally I find main character of "Mr. Brooks" much better portrayed than in "Dexter".

They shoot in Miami too. Southbeach & downtown scenes especially. I'm sure some scenes are done in studios in Cali, but the outside shots with actors & crew are definitely here. I recognize the places.

I hate how the deep-voice guy always uses silly adjectives like "disturbing," "haunting," "chilling," etc. I guess this show is some of those things to some people, but a lot of people I know just watch the show for the ethical problems, to identify with a loner type, or to just enjoy great scriptwriting and acting. Hamming it up isn't doing the show a good service.
