  • In this series Ray sets out to hear stories of true survival, he doesnt claim to be surviving without anything, though if you were stranded in the jungle any sensible person would have a machete or back up knife.

  • This brings back so so many memories. I am planning a return to the jungle of Guyana, South America. I am really enjoying this series.

  • A lot of Hmong's are well aware of westerners. We were recruited to fight for the USA. Deal was that if America lost what will become of us. Some were brought to the US, others went to Australia and France. The rest were left 4 dead. There are videos of Hmongs who are still running and fighting til this day in the jungles.

  • @KnifeAddic these r hmong thai, they r not as used to westerners compared to hmong lao

  • @BritishKnight97 revolutionary.

  • the hmong ppl are awesome, and the US govt. took a giant shit on them after the war, just abandoned them after having them fight ,so the comunists came in a slaughtered them, the US govt. is a bunch of back stabbing liars, ask any native American.

  • @justaman6972 People who dont industralize get imperialized, its sad but its history. Still wish we could all be good and get along.

  • @RWW124 I sure agree with you there.Yet never before in human history has there been a global awakening where people have become politically aware of just how rotten their government is. Thanks to the free uncencored internet, well less for China anyway its uncencored. So hope remains for those willing to be the change they want to see in the world. We have folks like Julian Assange to thank as well, the guy is a hero imo,but they will try to kill him if they get the chance. thanks for replying...

  • love hmong people!.........

  • Bamboo is the resource of the future, it is strong and once compound even stronger. Dont forget its a grass, it grows extremely fast.

  • @Syphered08

Thanks a million Syphere! Would not have been able to tell as no lyrics :P.

  • its not really survival if there are porters to do everything for you, nevermind a village less than a days walk away, I like rays documentaries, but it just feels like its missing the point of most of his documentaries, like the desert Island or the rockie mountains ones.

  • Bamboo powers.... Activate!!

  • "Makes me happy to see MY* people the HMONG people in videos such as this..., and just to let you other guys know...all that camera stuff & equipment they're carrying is nothin to them....like that 70+yr old grandma......all I can say is BRING IT"

  • see, ray mears has a real old AMERICAN friend.Proud of him

  • I complained because I didn't have any shoes, until I saw a man with no feet.
