  • He look's David Bisbal :P

  • how could anybody not like this?

  • the motherfucking killer !

  • Good stuff, dare you to find better!

  • check out Jerry lee live at the star club album recorded in april 1964. It's considered the best live rock & roll album ever. not so much a live album as a crime scene. Truly impressive playing by Jerry & the Nashville Teens, who somehow keep up with him.Jerry lee never really got his due, imo. Though he is the last man standing of all those sun records giants. Still around, still recording ,still playing gigs.

  • and i thought tori amos wailed on the piano

  • damn and a HALF

  • Just heard this song on the show Metal Evolution, it kicks ass.

  • Pervert

  • Too bad he turned out to be a pervert.

  • This is one of my favourite songs. I'm twelve years old. My generation disgusts me.

  • @MissFunkyMonkey99 Now see, when I read things like that, it gives me hope for the future.

  • @joker52mlb The spirit of rock will never die for those who stay true to it.

  • Wan't he Liberace's crazy cousin?

  • @TONYMLT He was jimmy swaggarts cousin not sure which one is crazy though

  • didn't he merry his first cousin?

  • saw jerry live in 1969 in madison heights virginia at the old parkway inn on rt. 130. unbelievable !!!!! brought the house down !!! god , for the good old days !

  • nobody could rape a piano the way he did

  • Korn heavy? Rotfl

  • No rap but you like Lincoln park? Ha, listen to better rap. Tribe called quest, Jurassic 5, biggie, PAC, mos def, talib kwale, arrested development, beastie boys. I'd rather get punched in the dick than admit I like linkin park/ compare them to Jerry.

  • Ken don't

  • Long Live The Piano Killer

  • Alan I wish this Music would come back so much, it is so much better than this Rap and Stuff today, I will tolerate Bruno Mars, Linkinpark and some of KORN I wont advise the last one I mentioned for you because it is very heavy!;)

  • This brings back memories, my teddy boy years and real rock and roll. Love it.

    Alan.

  • It didn't matter if he played out of key, all that matters is that he was more entertaining than anyone else...Jerry Lee was great. Period.

  • Cocaine is one hell of a drug.

  • It wasnt cocaine, it was anphetamine and prescription drugs alike. Cocaine came just a little bit later, and you needed way more money for that. Elvis actually did that much money, probably Jerry Lee Lewis didnt back then.

USA was selling drugs (..and alcohol..) way before the "Marijuana and Cocaine Boom" of late 60's-70's. "Prescription drug" means any "Doctor" could give it to anybody. You know, "A nice word here, a nice word there".

Some people became addicted to that "legal" stuff.

  • JUST... FUCKIN' INSANE!!!

    LOVE IT!!!

  • Not sure why he is a classic... when i did the same on my parent's piano i got a great big spank on my bee-hind!

  • Oh My God!

    Jerry's cooking!

You should check out Elvis version, 'cos he's making dessert.

  • Comment removed

  • he did have so much shaking gong on. phew!

  • Thanks for helping pave the way you maniac..... :-)

  • that hillbilly sure could play

  • This guy is insane

  • The SOUTH.....we have the best EVERYTHING! Music, Food, Fine Ladies....We gave the world Elvis, Jerry Lee, Johnny Cash, fried chicken, liver and onions, gumbo shrimp, the delta blues, car racing, as well as the knowledge that you don't have to always be in a blind-ass hurry just to get things done. Oh....I forgot about Jack Daniels and mint juleps...;-)

  • @LynchColl94 Yeah Jerry Lee was really good, you know, until he got black listed for marrying his 13 year old cousin, not to mention he also shot his bass player.

  • Fantastico!! È incredibile come riesca a fare tutte note intonate con tutti i salti che fa!.... Mah... Mai li capiremo i geni del passato!

  • I think it should be mandatory for all kids these days to watch real music like this!

  • ....is he high? in an awesome way?

  • @dissydose he probably was drunk

  • @FLHKSBonYT

He's obviously high as hell on amphetamines, definitely not alcohol...

  • This guy is so fantastic :D

  • Teljes extázisban zenél!

  • This song is so fun!

  • earthquake in japan now lol

  • This is what Rock n' Roll should sound like!! ^_^

  • This was back when rock n roll was exciting.

  • speechless

  • QUEEN IDA AND ZYDECO MUSIC BAND IS PLAYING....AWESOME

  • The only man that can rightfully dance sitting down.

  • TOO SICK AND TOO AWESOME! The greatest performance I've seen so far! (Y)

  • Amazing to think he's the last living legend of the original Sun Records "Million Dollar Quartet" who basically invented rock n roll (the others being Elvis Presley, Johny Cash, and Carl Perkins). Jerry Lee has outlived them ALL. And so many others who came along after him, who were inspired and influenced by his music. He was a crazy cat in his day but he's still kickin well into his 70s now. God bless him.

  • fuckin brilliant !!!

  • It is genetic. Either you rock, or you don't. I think Jerry Lee is the greatest rock and roll asset America ever had. I have seen him twice. You talk about a guy who does not give a flying frig! He seemed to come out, a little angry, and he showed it. But... his shows were so good. Plus, he is expert in country and gospel. There will never be... another Jerry Lee. Detroit.

  • Wow....must be something genetic! Jerry Lee Lewis, Mickey Gilley and Preacher Jimmy Swaggert were all fabulous piano players in rock. country and gospel.

  • lol I love how his hair flaps up and a down as he's playing the piano.

  • Why does he have a mic stand, but no mic?

  • i only have 13 years old and just love this song :P

  • 1:40

    CHAIR!!!!!!!!

  • ahahhahaha

  • Man , he's pretty good looking (no homo) he could've got as many ladies as he wanted but he chose his 13 yr old cousin. That's crazy!

  • I gotta say, there are few artists who came out in the 1950s that, if they came out today in today's music world wouldn't make much of an impact..... This performance by Jerry Lee on Steve Allen is so electric that if he did this TODAY as a 22 year old guy he'd blow the roof off any TV show or concert. You can watch this a hundred times and you are floored every time you watch it. The energy he has, how his hair just blows up when he starts bangin, kickin the chair out - it don't get any better!

  • fucking unbelievable

  • This guy married Winona Ryder?

  • 0:35 - The hair goes from straight and flat to messy and curly in less than half a second. Brilliant!

  • One of the greatest records of all time.

  • I drank a beer with him on the day MLK was assassinated

  • He's the killer, all right.

  • Comment removed

  • Easy now!!

  • Whole lot of bacon goin on.

  • aaaaand i jizzed

  • I'm an aspiring rapper and I listen to only rap beats and old music like this, and Matt Monro's.

  • Leave the bad shit out of it here! The man could rock n roll!!

  • Did he not like to get his 13 year old cousin. To skake? Good performance though

  • I love 0:54

  • LOL i love how his hair moves

  • I think that Maroon 5 should sing "moves like Jerry". Cause Jerry got some sick moves!

  • Check The Next Jerry Lee Lewis on CB Kelton on You Tube

  • flagged for piano abuse

  • @karpfenaut

    XD

  • Jerry, you had the money to buy stronger hair glue. just saying...

  • THE KING!!!!!!

  • the true rock king

  • Hey it's an even bigger and obvious sheeple coincidence at 1:28. Hmmmm it's that hand signal while his right eyes covered as a bunch of simple innocent minds are in a trance.

I mean yea watch the video enjoy it mindlessly, be lazy go watch some reality tv an get fat and stay blind.

  • Crazy it almost seems like he's possessed playing the piano he's so good and mesmerizing.

That audience especially seems hypnotized. Don't you lifelong die hard Jerry Lee Lewis fans agree?

What a legend of this earth I wonder what it cost him?

Hey at 1:11 he does the devils horn hand signal into the camera as his right eye is covered. What a cowinkidink.

  • Whoa!

  • if Axl rose were going to make a remake, it would have to be a Jerry Lee lewis tune

  • 0:33 for epic hair.

  • @Quilenaw He was on the verge of losing it and had to pull himself back from the brink.

  • Sorry forgot to mention , Sir Buddy Holly

  • Saw him live , bloody brilliant, great songs tight sound by sounds incorperated fantastic stage presence a true rock and roller . the word legend is used a lot nowdays and not always true in the case of this man along with Sir Chuck Berry and Sir Little Richard legend means legend, But would any of these greats win the X factor. who cares

  • Best, best, best, best :) :) SHAKE !!!!

  • 1:13 does anyone know exactly what he says? whatever it is its awesome.

  • Police officer, i'd like to report an incident.

    Police officer: What is it?

I raped the replay button. :3

  • Burning Piano's is what Jerry Lee did without any Flame! He is by far the best pianoist ever...... ever.

  • @JulesElway07 Obviously you've never heard of Liszt.

  • ...nobody follows a killer

  • what a great performer. his piano skills are better than anyones

  • Me, I have been listening to a lot of classic late 50's and 60's music lately. The songs are more uplifting and fun. Better than today's songs which are a bunch of whining about peoples exes.

  • The only difference between the "Legendary Jerry Lee Lewis and Sugar Ray Manzarek, of the Doors, is Appalachia..." Dan O'Niallain

  • rock n roll at its best

  • no video editing here...GREAT !!

  • im gunna make the 50s sound come back, you watch

  • @K9nighter you do that killer!!! rock on!

  • @K9nighter PLEASE!!!! I miss that sound so much. I was born in 1950....I'm old, I know, but I still love that sound.

  • This man would explode if he had a Red Bull right now!

  • Rock n Roll Baby woooo

  • Jerry Lee Lewis is Sugar Ray Manzarek of the little known group called Jim Morrison and the Doors...Dan O'Niallain

  • he's whipping his hair back n forth

  • Just me who is getting into the 50's sound recently?

  • @fattymattyweasel obsessed

  • @fattymattyweasel best music ever!

  • @fattymattyweasel I've grown SO fed up with the disgusting state of music these days, I've retreated into the past and have been schooling all my friends about this wonderful stuff, plus blues, jazz, doo-wop, vintage gospel and c;lassic Motown...

  • @fattymattyweasel same here 50s and 60s straight up

  • @0:35 his hair LOL

  • jimmy swaggarts cousin, talent runs in the family.

  • This is what too much mojo looks and sounds like.

  • Now thats how a piano should be played! I had the honor of meeting Jerry Lee in NY. Really fun person to talk to. There will never be anyone like him again.

    Elliot

  • cocaine hell of a drug

  • U go Jerry Lee!! I love him singing and blayin this. I am a young senior, and love to dance with my white boots on !!

  • LOOK AT THAT HAIR!!! OMAGWAD!! *dies*

  • Is it me, or is it that amazing that woman got wet over this shit? I know it's a different time now and everything, but this fucker was a straight nerd.

  • @grunt11b

I think he could get women wet today if he was 22 again with that energy, but you have to remember the era. 1958 was just the tip of the iceberg of rock n roll. Elvis was still new, no one ever heard of the Beatles, and generally speaking most of the "pop" music of the time was still what your parents listened to. Perry Como, Pat Boone, Rosemary Clooney.... boring artists singing boring songs. So any teenager who saw a wild, blond haired, tall thin guy bangin out a piano...

  • would get turned on by his moves, the pumped up beat of the music... rock n roll music is really defined simply as pumped up 4/4 timing, and it's easy timing to get into a rhythm with, and well, you know there's a rhythm to sex. They cut Elvis from the waist down because they thought he was too sexy, Jerry Lee goin all crazy on the piano.... yeah girls never saw that before at the time. That's why rock n roll and sex go so well together lol!

  • I love this guy!! go Jerry go! I am a young senior and still like to do all this dancing ! Shake baby oh! Yea!

  • @exspurned82 - If you do some research, you will find that he married his 12 year old cousin which was legal in that US state at the time.

  • It wouldn't be the same if this was lip synced. I'm really glad he did it live :]

  • I masturbate to this

  • @MrKongssund I won't tell! LOL.

  • @MrKongssund That's your problem..........let's talk about the music...........not you.

  • @firestartertwistedfi

    Yes. Yes he did.

  • @firestartertwistedfi like a boss

  • I LOVE THIS GUY!!! MORE THAN ELVIS

  • @GreenLantern141 @onelegopiece NOT TRUE!!!! Elvis and Jerry Lee were good friends. They liked and respected one another. Read Jerry Lee's sister Linda Gail Lewis' book, The Devil, Me and Jerry Lee. Visit any serious Elvis forum on the net; you will NOT find such an ill-founded claim. Now Elvis DID shoot out a TV when Robert Goulet was singing without emotion or feeling and maybe a time or two more. But never at Jerry Lee.

  • It's the Lewis way ;)

  • Craziest, wildest hillbilly SOB that ever walked the face of the earth, and still more of a rocker in his 70's than most could be at 17. Loved Elvis....but Jerry Lee will always be the King.

  • That's not Jerry Lee Lewis, you assholes. It's Liberace.

  • Happy birthday to you GLORIOUS MAN !!! You are my only true hero and mentor!

    Regards from Romania, Chris
