Its not that difficult, don't get me wrong - it's hard but its a matter of practice, after 3 attempts of this I was hitting 25-55 constantly - it is hard but not that hard :)
@elliottmorris11 Impressive!! I wish I would receive training at young age. Professional squash players mostly begin their training at age of around 7.
I don't know why any of you care about how many countries squash is played in or how much money is spent on it. What I care about is how much enjoyment I get from squash compared to any other sport. Especially to tennis or table tennis. For me, they just do not match the excitement and satisfaction I get from a good game of squash. Why care about anything else?
shove ur tennis racquet up ur arse bobby boy! It's much better to watch squash players such as JP travel the world and play for the love of the game rather then for there next ferrari..
first off, tennis players have bigger charity foundations and do more philanthropic work than squash players. Its a fact; maybe it's because they are given more endorsements and can afford it, but they still give back a shit load of their winnings (maybe a small percentage of it, but compared to what you and i give, its a shit load). We dont know if Federer is there just to play for a ferrari, but im pretty dam sure hes not. So dont pass judgements.
Well, here's the answer to the question posted on other Jonathan Power clips: "How the hell can he flick the ball to the back court when he's prepared for a drop?"

Have you played tennis. Tennis is the king of racquet sports, which is why there is 10 times more money in pro tennis than pro squash. Oh, and by the way, tennis is much more international than squash.
im sorry, i really love squash and all, i dont play tennis but well you are wrong on that, susan devoy is from new zealand, and is one of the best squash players ever, yet serina williams is a better knowen name, and tennis players make shitloads more money
I guess you have heard of names like Laver, Borg, Sampras, Federer, etc. Names that most people who are interested in sports know.
Squash is an amazing sport. No doubt. But in my city of Louisville, KY USA, there are only 8 courts in the whole city. The game needs to build some sort of outdoor facility where people can play free while being outdoors. Also, the sport needs to focus on women participation - women seem to prefer tennis for social reasons.
lol is this a joke? As much as i love squash, and trust me i do, it doesn't compare to tennis in terms of endorsements, tournaments and spectatorship. Sorry bro, its the facts.
just because tennis has more money doesnt make it a better sport. if you go by that logic then F1 would be the best sport in the world. also saying tennis is 'more international' than squash is a very ignorant comment. there are many countries that play squash that dont play tennis whereas the same cant be said vice versa. also they play squash on wall street so check and mate
I agree about some countries playing squash and some playing tennis. Countries like Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia have a large number of sqash players with few tennis players. Conversely, countries like Serbia, Bosnia and Russia have lots of tennis players with few squash players.
Why is squash so loved in Egypt where they have warm weather year round, but haven't produced a pro tennis player since some Egyptian guy got to the finals at Wimby in the 1960's.
Personally, just as a form of pre-game entertainment, I think it'd be pretty amusing if players had like an entrance music where they, if they pleased, came dressed as the locals in their country.
Not what tennis is all about, but a fairly amusing sight to envision nonetheless.
How often do they have squash on the tennis channel. I would love to catch some action. There is a local amateur squash tourney in my city this weekend. Hope to watch a few matches. It has been cold and now there is snow, so outdoors tennis may be a while.
Totally agree about countries where squash is more popular than tennis and vice versa. Countries where tennis is popular and squash is not popular: Croatia, Serbia, Russia, United States, Spain and Argentina. Countries where squash is popular and tennis is not popular: Egypt, Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Countries where both are popular: Great Britain, France and Australia.
@mrbobevans you will find that squash is popular in all the countries that where part of the british empire or neighbouring countries that it spread into.
As with all the sports (cricket, rugby), where we went they went, its just a shame that everyone got better then us at most of them!!
Shows how it should be done. Good vid.

Squash has had World champions from 5 continents. Can tennis boast the same? Even including all 4 Grand Slams
