  • is there a sacred place on earth where people like charter reps dont exist.... if so...can i have a map... and a gun... to keep any invading charter bitches out!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST...SCUM OF THE FUCKING EARTH..... DIE CHARTER FAGS DIE!!!

  • I even had a tech come out to my house and STILL I have issues.. I really dont see how Charter is still in business. It seems they just dont care about improving the quality of their service.

  • Yes Charter is the WORST CATV/ISP I have ever had... When I had their TV service (I canceled a few months back thankfully), I would get signal issues left and right. Weather had nothing to do with it as it was nice and sunny.. no wind or anything. They also lack a TON of channels compared to the competition. So I got DirecTV. As for their internet, when I had it bundled with the TV, it had NO problems. Now, since I dropped the TV service, I get service outages like no other.

  • They fixed yours? My mom couldn't get an outbound signal, making on-demand and internet useless. I called to cancel all but basic and expanded cable and they came out and disconnected her entire service. That happened two days before x-mas, and though she saw the footprints in the snow they said no one had touched the line physically... until 7pm when they said if she had called a few hours earlier they could have sent someone out. She started calling at 7am. We cancelled the service.

  • fucken ATT 2mbit is faster than charters 10 mbit

  • U got nothing to do? Don't bother the representatives because they are working.

  • Charter does not care about their customers and because they're a virtual monopoly, they can get away with it. If I had even 3-4 companies to choose from, I think things might change overnight. Our HBO has been cutting out and pixelating for over a month. They need to give me a huge refund, especially since I've had to call them 7 times this month about the same problem!

  • im goin bck to dsl fuck charter

  • Charter is trash! Fucking crap is the worst internet ever! AT&T Uverse kicks the shit out Charter on every level. Rabbit ears are a better alternative to Charter Cable..... I FUCKING HATE CHARTER INTERNET AND CABLE!!!!!!

  • ATT Uverse goes off and on as well

  • i pay $30 for 10Mbps, its a pretty good deal, and its also the only isp in my area that's high-speed

  • When we call Charter we typically get someone with an intense middle eastern accent saying something like "Thenk yu fer colling Chartar Kebble, my nem iss Micheal, hoe con ay be assist you too deh?" Micheal? Where ya at, Mikey, Bombay? Delhi? Lie to me some more Mikey!

  • You think its bad while you have it? wait til you try to disconnect it.

  • Comment removed

  • It matters where you live, in my area charter could be faster than you, even if you had charter

  • @slowslowedvidz

true not allow that but where my sister lives her internet goes on and off every time.

Where I live at it never disconnects on me. I'm no longer with charter anyway more since I'm with att satellite now.

  • I have no problem most of the time myself, but my friend who lives on the other side of the same city I live in said his went down every night. This is a problem because that is the only time he could really use it. Apparently all of their customers on that side of the City have the same problem.

  • Wait. How much do you pay BtheD19?

  • i did this test i get Verizon DSL and charter high internet. DSL 10 million times beter then charter. Okay its slower. But DSL its always on. For charter one min it work the other I had to call them say i can use there internet. I had to cancel my charter services which was a big problem for then. So if you have to pick ( pick Verizon DSL)

  • Seruoslly lol I rembmer a charter commercial saying that charter is 13x faster than dls lol gay charter lies so much that Obama should banned them

  • Charter sucks ...

    Google search Charter Communications

more than 75% of the searches will be about how it sucks

Ranked in one of the worst ISPs around

    waiting for sellout

  • On March 27, 2009, Charter Communications filed a prearranged Chapter 11 bankruptcy (reorganization) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The case number is 09-11435-jmp.

  • i cant view this video yet, its still loading. i have charter.

  • charter CAN LICK MY BALLS! the internet keeps shutting down every 10 minutes -_-..i feel ur pain man...and,they also higher..some people have have bad english *not being racist*,just bad english. :O,anyways charter JUST SUCKS...

  • I feel your pain, dude. One day, it will work beautifully and then for the next three weeks, it will keep cutting out every 5-10 minutes on me...fuck Charter

  • hahah me too.. taking about 10 min :)

  • hahahaha...same here. I pay $80/month for 10Mbps down and this video still can't load. Thinking about going with dsl.

  • Bah, charter has been sucking dick for me atm. Some times it'll randomly shut off and i have to reboot my internet. Fucking terrible internet. When its working its fine, but itll have its little shit attacks and be slow as fuck or it will just shut down completely.

  • Go for DirectTV, you'll never be disappointed. Great quality to customer service, video/audio quality is superb and the customer service is beyond perfect.

Plus, when you get DirectTV they'll install 4 boxes throughout your home for free and you'll only have to pay $39.99 for the Premium Services and DVR receiver, w/ the internet services $39.99, which will add up to $79.98 total monthly payment.

    No outages GUARANTEED!

    "Always On" Connection.

Plus, Channels are super easy to locate.

  • charter need to improved customer service

  • I would try getting internet by Sattelite via: HughesNet.

  • Get Verizon FiOS Its the fastest of the Fast!

  • The people that work for charter 50% off there bill. I wish i would work in account & billing. I hear that people reroute there bill to other Customers. I don't know if people is sales do that. But i work for High-Speed Internet support or repair.

  • Charter sucks, I hate it when their employees when come in our house! Charter Inc. stinks, really bad!

  • All Charter customers. Each of the people spoken to in this clip were from foreign call centers. I take call after call from people who are upset about agents not being helpful, and not being easy to understand. Here's the problem, Charter cares about SALES. PERIOD! They are looking at closing more American call centers now because the outsourced call centers outsell us. The easiest way to eliminate the foreign agents is to not buy ANYTHING from foreign agents, and tell them why.

  • then you ALL SUCK FUCK CHARTER! AND FUCK EVERYONE WHO WORKS FOR THEM THE INTERNET SUCKS! FUCK ALL OF YOU!

  • haha. I work for Charter too. You'd think we got enough calls a day at work to satisfy ourselves. Damn this rep...it's people like this that make me upset, cause I get the poor cust that's just trying to get one simple thing done.

  • I work for charter as Customer services rep. They pay good. I love my job.

  • i work for charter as well doesnt it sound like DOI? What is your name and tech ID?

  • i think your right about the DOI part. But i am not giving you my Tech ID. You could rat me out.

  • I work for Charter for 3 year. It will be 4 in April. Charter internet does suck. I have verizon fios. fios internet is 100 times better then Charter's suck internet. I would tell people the turn about charter but ill get fired.

  • Ya i work for charter too...outsourcing is alright as long as we can understand the person were talking to...I live in canada and ya this persons a dumbass, shouldnt have gotten hired in the first place...But what can you expect when yr getting paid 20 bucks a week..

  • Eyyyyy, I work for Charter. :]

And this agent, is a complete fucking idiot.

  • lol thank you for calling the ed desk

  • rofl, charter have like 5 million cust, only about 1million call in, still not bad hahaha

  • Charter has just over 1 million customers (they just announced it about a month ago when they signed up their millionth) & they claim to have calls come in from only about 3% of their customer base (dunno if I buy that, but that's what they say) I work Telephone repair for them.

  • i think the agent doesn't know what she was doing., i would be upset as well if i would catch an agent like this :D

  • January = February? Lollzypops!!!!

  • wow charter sucks.

  • look in the bright side, if charter really do sucks then why is it still standing?

im also an agent and in my own perception,

"I SHOULD BE THE ONE TO ADJUST" = JOB

and try to learn improve and avoid stagnant..

lastly the reason for charter to have such agents is that customers are too many to be handled that is why it needs a lot of help ..but negatively lessening the quality of agents

    peace guys

  • its still standing because they've got certain area locked down and people in these areas have no choice but to deal with them. I live in Temple City, I absolutely hate charter but I can't live with lousy DSL. Charter is my only choice.

  • "suisad"... i think you don't deserve the job.. not everything cannot be learned within two weeks.. yes you are right, yet it doesn't mean that everything sucks if that is the situation.. the things learned in the product training is just an overview of what lies ahead and the real deal is what you will experience on the floor...

  • I work for Charter in the states and this is just ridiculous and embarrassing. Are you still a customer?

  • Be sure they know how to solve your problem, but beware! they follow the policies more than anyone, so If you want to stick out from the policy you better try with an agent that can be more flexible cause these little supervisors are forced to say "no" when Charter policy says "no".

  • *8* And let me tell you a secret, whenever you request a supervisor you are not going to talk to one, you talk to the most experienced reps (which usually are between 18 and 25 years old, this is the age range of 80% of the reps, High school and College kids. I was 19 when I started) that fix most of the crap the newest guys make.

  • *7* I always hated that cause we should be ashamed offering new services when the customer has been without them for the last 2 days and probably is going to stay like that for another 3 while we get a technician. But we must do it, otherwise if your sup or the Quality department listen the call you are in trouble.

  • *6* So if Charter wants happier customers they need to focus on the training and for God's sake they need to hire people with better accents. And one more thing, the poor guy was trying to sale cause we are forced to do it on eeeevery call,

  • *5* I would have appreciated a little bit of training on that but I learnt with customers yelling at me the firsts months and I became really good and my customer service was first class cause I really enjoyed helping people and being thankfully with me cause the last 4 agents never fixed their problems.

  • *4* or the fact I don't own a HD tv but I must know how to adjust the settings with the cable box, know about cable cards, moxi boxes, etc. They not even mentioned those words on the training! But we are "billing and repair department" for everything so we must know.

  • *3* So we hit the floor having no idea of what we are supposed to do, we learnt the basis like answering the call with energy, taking a payment, making changes on the packages... all the simply stuff. Yeah but they never mentioned about all the VOD issues, techs missing appointments, serial numbers missing on the system, adding equipment to the account, adding promotions on one specific system that can be hell itself

  • *2* This guy totally nerved me up with all the " oh, ok...mmm... oh... ok". But the main problem is that making a credit adjustment it's sooo easy but Charter reps are not trained properly. We only get 2 weeks of training including an intensive english course, product and system training! its too much for 2 weeks, you have no idea of all the stuff you need to learn when it comes to customer service and all Charter problems.

  • Ok, this is going to be long. I worked as a charter csr (Mexico) for almost a year, I quit 2 months ago and I was shocked with that call! For me seems that guy (I think is a he) was new, the call was so simple and it could lasted only 3 minutes but he wasn't understanding what the customer was saying. It's a shame cause you can find really good agents on Charter Mexico or reaaaaaally bad agents, the hiring standards are pretty low these days.

  • Hey, I´m still there.. too bad you didnt get to know the building we just moved into.. it used to belong to the PGR!! Everyday I fear a bunch of Zetas will burst in shooting at us thinking we are the "judiciales" LOL. Who was your supervisor, btw?...

And yeah. Delicia was definitely a newvie... just give her some time, she´ll learn.

  • hahahaha I love it when customers call me, and ask for ridiculous amounts of credit like, three years worth and I tell them no, I work at that call center, I speak perfect English and I love it when bigots call and say "ZOMG FINNNNNALY SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS AMERIKKKAN!!!!!!" And it's so much fun to fake an accident to piss you guys off even more. I do it because I can, and I loathe these customers and my job.

  • hey ya i work for charter too and ur not talking to tech's... the techs are the stupid dummies that come to ur house and sorry about ur luck on getting a dumbshit for an agent lol

  • If someone is offline, try every single coax line in the household, before the splitter and after the splitter, check the downstream and upstream frequency signals, the Signal to Noise Ratio, make sure the MAC address is correctly provisioned, check modem details to ensure the IPS and the BACC details are correctly provisioned, and stop trying to achieve the perfect quality. I couldn't give a shit about quality. Pay me the wage I'm supposed to get and stuff your bonuses up your ass.

  • Tip of the day to future charter agents that look at this video. Fuck quality, fix the customers issue. Don't sell them shit. This tech should confirm the node in the outage to the node sending this guy the signal to confirm an outage, and at least a hit should have been sent to the modem.

  • I love this shit. I also work for Charter. This is awesome. I love how you either get one hell of a good agent or one hell of a shitty one. There is no grey area. This agent should be fired. He couldn't even fucking credit you properly. And then he trys to sell you something? "Yeah, I see your on the 3 meg service, very popular choice. Now, we have the 5 and 10 megs in your area, which means we can have you offline at three times the speed."

  • I used to always get support calls from Fon Du Lac Wisconsin, about 45 minutes from where I live. Last couple times I've gotten an Indian or something, so Charter must be in a state of transition. Charter used to be ok, besides their infamously shitty and constant price hikes. Now they're beginning to just plain out suck, like, comcast suck. (i've always had an issues with flaky internet connections).

  • fuck charter

  • It's legal in my state, but thanks for the incorrect legal advice. It's about as useful as your tech support.

  • I listened to the video, I highly doubt you were talking to a tech. Also did you know that it was illegal to tape a phone call without the other person on the line knowing you're recording them? I work for Charter as an internet tech, yes a lot of our calls are put overseas....but call any company up, they all have agents overseas, so it's not just charter.

  • Actually, one party must be notified. The loophole is that you can just simply notify yourself that you are recording and that satisfies the law.

What you can't do is record a phone call that you are not a part of if you do not notify at least one of the parties actually on the phone call.

  • sir, my name is paul, i too work for charter as a tech. i find it hard to believe you are really speaking with this kind agent, i just want you to know that there are some of us whose been really doing our best to serve u guys,

  • Wouldn't it be a perfect world, that when you deal with an AMERICAN company that you could speak with an AMERICAN. All of these large companies employ foriegners to deal with the complaint calls. You call to report a problem and you end up with 16 new services and a larger bill.

  • What do you guys think about the Canadians and the other American agents you get

  • as a canadian agent CHARTER SUCKS sorry guys just keep complain'in!

  • charter cant tell its ass from a hole in the ground, employees poorly trained cable is hit and miss go dish
