I love X-files, for 9 years it was the highlights of fridays where I leave, and I always felt G and D were perfect in their roles. Getting that out of the way, as a huge fan I cannot feel other way than an X-files orphan, surelly the series lifespan could have been extended at least for 2 or 3 more seasons if D hadn´t abandoned the ship earlier to do what? mediocre films that I would never see. Well maybe they were good, but nonethless, because of high treason I would never went watch them.
I am not a dumbass and naive person, I know that artists and namely D sought after money, and only money, leaving the captive audience looking like a dog that felt from the moving truck, empty handed, sort of speak, and now that he got offered buckets of money they came again to X_files. I dunno about the US, but over here in the UK there hasn't been a huge amount of talk about it over the past few years which is good because if I'd known even a year ago that it was gonna start filming for definite I would have gone absolutely crazy with anticipation! Whereas I only read online like 2 or 3 months ago that it was coming out here in August! Hell yeh! M&S fooooorever!
