  • can u help me???

how to small at back...i mean oblique at tail of plane..at 2:12 of video...

    sorry for my bad english....

    please help me....

  • @TheSyafiq12 Just press "S" to turn to Scaling mode and then move your mouse to make it smaller.

  • @weeliano thanks... i really appreciate u...^_^

  • at the start, do you click "R", becasue whevever i click "R", it rotates the object, and i do not know how to cut the object. could someone help?

  • @MajorWales Hi, when you click R, it goes to rotate mode and whichever object is selected it will rotate. To rotate or tumble your VIEW on the other hand, just middle click and hold and move your mouse.

  • @MajorWales if ur talking about the loops its ctrl r

  • uuuuuuuugh my mirror NEVER works maybe because i have the newer version? please help!!!

  • @truckerdoug14226 Hi, check your model orientation, does it match the tutorial's? Look at the orientation of the axis arrows, it should match yours for the tutorial to work. Another way is to check your Mirror modifier's axis. The default is always X, try unchecking X and check Y to see if it works.

  • @weeliano thx that helped!

  • thank you so much!!!!!

  • how to rotate an obj.??? sry im a beginner soo.......

  • @Sumanth575 Hold down your middle mouse click and drag your mouse when rotating your views.

  • I think this could be useful for trying to blend a fish :P

  • @Bramblekitty1 Indeed, you can also make a Dolphin, Killer Whale or a Great White Shark with it.

  • somebooooooooooooooody

    phone pranks lol

  • k so at i got to the wing part and where u pull it back along the y axis, when i try to do i have the end face of the wing highlighted i pull it back and the highlighted face moves back but the rest of the wing remains still. ????what did i do wrong????

  • @d1ffsta It could be possible that you have accidentally extruded another face at the wing tip. You can try pulling out the face, press this combination Ctrl+ (Numpad +) to select any additional faces. Ctrl + (Numpad -) to shrink selection. Delete the wing and try extruding it again. To fill the hole, select the edges surrounding the hole by pressing ALT+Right mouse click over one edge of the hole and then press F to fill it.

  • When I try the mirror, the object duplicates only halfway. Am I doing something wrong?

  • @atomofish Your orientation is probably not the same as mine. Go to the Modifiers in the Buttons Panel Below. Check which axis is turned on. By default X axis mirror is always on. Try activating other axis like Y or Z, but remember to disable the other axis you don't need. See if that will solve your problem. BTW, if you look carefully, the wing is oriented to the X axis (red line) and the Fuselage is oriented to the Y axis (green line)

  • @weeliano

Thanks, I already figured it out.

  • control r dosent do nothing -.-

  • @TheHDQuality Make sure you are in Edit mode, otherwise it won't work. Also this tutorial is meant for Blender 2.49B. Some earlier versions of 2.5 won't work, but I believe the latest 2.53Beta, the command works.

  • I've spent weeks trying to learn this program, watching videos and reading tutorials, and I've learned more in the last minute of this video that the past few weeks.

  • Thanks for a well made tutorial! :D

  • Some questions:

How do you move so freely with the camera?

1:01 Hit the tek key.. Did you mean Tab?

1:51 How did you only cut the right side

  • @bboybram

You middlemouse click and Drag to orbit the camera

    Yes it's the "Tab" key

You use this combination "Ctrl +R" to activate loop cut while your cursor is over an edge, roll the middle mouse roller to specify how many segments you want to cut.

  • Thx

Found out that I left Faces out.

4:36 But how did you do the Z thing

It's a really good tutorial, but I'm just a bit stupid

  • @bboybram

Immediately after pressing S for scale, Press X Y or Z to restrict it to the axis of your choice.

  • hi.. you are awesome! how do you change the color of blender?

  • great, this is what i've been searching for thanks

  • thanks this really helped
