  • With the national news focused on the political aspects of the Arizona shootings, this song hits home! Take the Democrat and Republican names out of it and no one would even be debating the "map" and the role it played to incite murder. There is no proof? What's wrong with just knowing in your heart it was wrong?

  • The chicks stretched the meaning of the song for freedom of speech in general, because of the incident. wich is def valid.

    I think patty's version was more withing a verbal violent relationship and how the man should respect's the woman right to speak her mind. If he lets her, she will love him ( pearl of water on her hip etcc..) thats how I interpret it, anyway :)
