There was no genocide! in 1915 Ottomans did force the armenians to leave Anatolia, because they beterayed ottomans for taking side of ottoman enemies! During this removal preocess some of armenians died from the hunger or cold, and some of them killed by local populations since they were angry for the things armenians did to them!

Many have died from starvation; between 25000-30000 died from diseases like tifo and dizantery. Many of the evacuated ones stopped their journey because of the official end of the evacuation thus staying in Anatolia and not going to their planned destination.

no it really was a genocide, one of the worst 2 or 3 in the 20th century.....to say that "turks were killed too" you're arguing the strawman....more Germans died in WWII than Jews, does that mean there was no policy to wipe out Jews? Armenians were deported out of their homes for the deliberate purpose of genocide....a book I recommend is "Blood and Soil" it compares all genocides, though quite a depressing read!!
