the faster you spin it..the greater the field..induceing feild that oppose the spin. the faster you spin it ...the harder it would be to turn. eddy-current brake. :)

Once a space ship leaves earth’s atmosphere it can go at high speed. So basically it would be no more than reducing atmospheric gravitational pull.
