  • They call all oval tracks that are a mile or more in length superspeedways.

  • Never mind...I was thinking this was at Loudon. My bad.

  • What's up with this clip? Davey Allison should still be in the #28...yet, they call Gordon a rookie and Marlin is in the #8.

  • Davey had passed away in July, that's why Irvan is there. Gordon's rookie year was 93, like Bobby Labonte and Kenny Wallace. Marlin drove for the Stavola Brothers, who had the 8 before Jr. got it in 1999. Earnhardt Sr. only had DEI running about 15 Busch races back in the day, same paint scheme and everything.

  • You know Davey Allison died... dont you? Yes, at one point in time Jeff Gordon was a rookie , and there have been other drivers to drive the #8.

  • If you would read the top comment, you would see I made a mistake...learn to read all comments.

  • Sterling Marlin... best "superspeedway" start... isnt Phoenix just a one mile track?

  • You mean 500.

  • oops i was thinking of another race from 1993 my bad

  • Yes, the New Hampshire one.
