Ty must not really know too much about what the Snow Leopard upgrade is all about if he expected to see any changes on the desktop. Its all under the hood changes Ty,so a big performance increase, rewritten Finder in Cocoa, you should have gotten like 7 gigs of storage back, but only some minor tweaks to the GUI.
