I was reading what you wrote in the description box. Well, your camera is fine. The camera mic was designed to pick up audio a little further away. In a bathroom, you are really close to the mic, which will cause over-modulation as you raise your voice. The only way around that is to record as a studio quality track, which means you adjust the levels so that the volume doesn't go into the red on the meter. In any case, no one expects you to be a professional. You're doing great.
