When you play an RPG you hope to feel that your impacts really damage the opponent, in this game it feels like if the character was cutting air and not cutting something really tangible in the game environment, this takes off points because in the long run you wont feel like, "FUCK IM SO AWESOME, THIS DUDES GO OFF FLYING!!!!, MUAHAHAAH DIE MTF.!!!!" :D it will only make you say "yay I won, whats next?"

This game is AMAZING. Nothing is as epic as jumping off a cliff turning into a dragon and raining firey death upon your enemys. Then going back to human form and dual wielding two badass weapons and beating mobs to death. The ego draconis remake part of the game is epic. The little expansion sucks imo tho. Just some tacked on puzzle quests.

@kubel83 I would highly recommend the game. Be sure to get the dragon knight saga tho as the original ego draconis is buggy and flawed. Best rpg i have played in a long time. Its got a lot of classic rpg goodness yet alot of original stuff that just catchs you by suprise.

@DeathInShortPants Dragon Knight Saga = Ego Draconis + Addon. The addon will add a little new content and improved graphics into the main game and after the end of the main game continiues the story, wich is the main content of the addon.

@virremannen11 I just got the game two days ago, and as far as I know, there is no fast travel. In the latter part of the story and quests, you get to the right lvl, you can morph into your dragon form and fly, cause massive dmg, but so far, I'm only like lvl 6, due to me goofing off and trying different classes and such. It is fun, I do love it so far.

@Obsidian182 Seriously, is it really any different looking than the other RPG's out there? I don't see much of a difference. But, I do like how the combat is done with the animations, voice animations, the particle effects, etc. Graphics don't look too bad, either. There are caster classes, so same thing but spells instead of blades. Oblivion, Dragon Age one and two, NWN 1 and 2....quest, hack/slash. But, I get new games quite a bit because I do get bored for a while, then go back. lol.

@Bllackguard666 oblivion is definitely not a hack in slash game especially when you have the right mods but I see your point with the other games. You should check out Skyrim the new elder scrolls, the combat engine in that is amazing and so are the dragons so that's kinda the game I'm going to be waiting for this year cant wait :D

I did get Divinity II from Direct2Drive, and it's not bad. The vid here makes it look just dull hack/slash, but there is a LOT of lore and quests to it, which I am happy about. But still, Skyrim is going to cause a huge case of uninstalls on my computer! haha. Gotta wait 'til November. Ugh...

@StrawHatLuffy4life I am not an expert on it because I don't own it yet, but from what I read on the forums about this is they improved the graphics, the frame rate, and fixed almost all the bugs that were in Ego Draconis. They also fixed the difficulty. Dragon Knight Saga is Ego Draconis plus Flames of Vengence. It comes out in the US on Xbox 360 in April. I love RPG's and I can't wait to get this.

@msnikish Ya it has Ego Draconis and the big expansion Flames of Vengence, it has a new graphical engine. Bugs are all fixed.They worked alot of the difficulty. The map and quest system is improved and makes quests easier. There is also a nightmare mode for the hardcore fans. But it is definitely more user friendly. Plus it's only $40 bucks with DII:ED, FoV, an artbook and a soundtrack.

@Taud it is good man i got 2 when it came out, and though it had its issues and bugs it was fun,and at th;e time, there was like one walkthrough up and it was in German, and there was no guide made for it, so i had to figure out some things without help, it was fucked , and it might not have been like Dragon Age like everyone was saying but to me its good enough it got overlooked totally which sucks cause it deserves a chance, also check out White Knight Chronicles for PS3 if you have PS

Azt mondod, unalmas a pofázás. Én erre azt mondom, tanul meg angolul ahelyett, hogy minden szart kipróbálsz és gyártod az elméletileg informatívnak szánt videókat. Ennyi idős korára az ember már felnő, vagy legalábbis elege lesz a sok ticsung-ticsungból meg a vagdalkozásból.
