The reasons Holden gives why he doesn't want Luke to be Gay are the only ones I ran relate to! I love how he says that Luke can be whoever he wants to be! I can understand his concerns and it shows great love and caring! he really loves him and he'll learn to live with the idea of Luke being gay and help him through all problems!

Holden is kind of like Spencer Tracy in 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner". I think he isn't really OK with it yet but uses the whole 'I don't want him to face prejudice' thing but he ends up supporting it.
