to gymnastagirl141009- I think the song is called "Clubbed to Death". Can't remember who performs it but it's on "The Matrix" movie soundtrack & it's an awesome song! I was so excited to hear it in a fx routine, especially in Ksenia's! She rocks!
What's with this music? And her dying at the end... Semenova, stop trying to be sexy and die like Khorki! Be the cute little Semenova from 07 and 08! Although her dance was amazing in 09.
oh how i cant wait for the next olympics its gonna be my first olympics where i actually understand the competetiors and the sport and all before i just watched the olympics and thats it
This music is absolutely awful. However, if she does insist on keeping it, I have a feeling it won't be too terrible. If anyone in the world could make the music work and give a routine, to this music, that is actually good, it's Ksenia. Her choreography is fantastic as ever. I just hope that she can get those tumbles down before the next time she does this routine at a competition.
I've come back to these videos and realized that this is why I hate last Russian wave of seniors coming from juniors. Nabieva was in tears throughout the routine, choreography given a F for failure. Mustafina not as much, but her failed double arabian left her in a foul mood. Dementyeva at least dosen't put on the "I don't care" face on. Semenova gets up and even does the choreography after she blows a tumble. She gets up and salutes to the judges after her QF FX after falling on her head.
@KVHolland3 I completely agree, I was just watching Mustafina during Podium Training and was disgusted how she put no effort into her training. I hope that Semenova can pull it together, because I much rather see her on the podium than some other of these "new seniors."
@GymchampZW The wave of Mustafina, and Nabieva really took the class out of Russian gymnastics that was amazingly their in 2005 and up, or after Khorkina. Look at Mustafina today at the American Cup, she showed terrible class, and I prefer the old coach over Alexander or whatever because he's talking about throwing away all the 2008 people.
@KVHolland3 Oh thats interesting, I didn't know that. At the american cup, they said that her coach told her to water down, and she refused. I thought that was interesting, but then again the commentators always seem to blow things out of proportion, so I'm not sure.
@KVHolland3 Great move for Russia. Alexander knows what he is doing and the gymnast like him. For Class..She had a lot of class and got Russia interested in gymnastics once again. Now gymnast after her will get paid more. Ever wonder why Zamo and Pavlova still compete? It's their Job. Its not an extra activity they do after school so if Alexander with his past accomplishments wants to fire and rehire..I say do it...It's ironic because its the American way.
@KVHolland3 It is but its expected with all the up and coming talent you have to be on your game. Alexander is already looking at his two promising juniors for 2012..if Mustafina comes back and Komova is sure to go that will be 4 out of 5 spots already gone..who will be the last..America and China will have the same problem as russia is having with making sure they have the right people..I think Romania will become strong as they only have about 5 gymnast that can fill all the molds.
@LCAmarkymark I also think Romania will be looking strong by 2012. With more experience and difficulty they basically will have the 2010 team in 2012 and I really won't be surprised when it'll be a toss up in 2012 between 4 teams. And heck even France and Great Britain with more star gymnast could challenge for a medal with hard work. It's nice to see more then the two team showdown.
@KVHolland3 I think UK will be a hard team..the home team..I mean they got second at the 2010 Euros..with the rules so different that they used to be back in the day the home team can get the job done most of the time.
@LCAmarkymark I think they really need to get something out of the other gymnast besides Tweddle. Downie and Cairns need to become solid AA's and especially Imogen Cairns needs to get herself to a more difficult vault. 3 Yurchenko 1.5's just won't do it against Russia's possible Triple Amanars and the American vaults. Then we have the Chinese who can come up with anything out of the blue.
@KVHolland3 Well I know they are going to bring it. Vault they can easily improve on..they have okay UB but beam is there weakest event. Floor should be easy for everyone at this next olympics since they limited the passed to 4 only. I know Russia and America will be strong...Im scared for the chinese right now because they need to bring it..no more home court advantage...and Romania will be forced to do well lol
@LCAmarkymark I think GBR is good on floor so they should be ok on that, but they need Tweddle to get back on a beam...China's youth isn't looking good. I'd think Linlin and Yuyuan despite everyone's assumptions are not going to be allowed to retire. Quishang and Kexin need to get it together too. It's not looking good for Russia because to my horror it seems a trip on a mat could have destroyed Komova's potential. Mustafina's sloppy gymnastics will get hammered by Olympic judges.
@LCAmarkymark And Dementieva never will have that star quality. I really wish Pavlova, Semenova and Afanayeva can get it together too. The American's will always be strong because of the brutal Olympic Trials (their televised, it's an event here in the US, not a meet). But my favorites are going to be the Romanian's with Izbasa, Porgras, Raluca Haidi, and Racea. They pretty much have 2 years with the same gymnast to build on difficulty. And their the most stable (unlike the Russians and US)
@KVHolland3 I think Romania will be strong..people have doubted them they are putting their focus in those 5 and they have a strong junior coming up too so you never know. Russia is going to be stable..we just don't know what gymnast are going to represent them and being only 5 spots..you can't a gymnast on your team thats only good at one event...everyone has to be at least 2 event really good gymnast and 2 have to be all arounders no matter what...this will be interesting
@LCAmarkymark Do you only count Russian's because there's a video of Ksenia Semenova in 2009 Euro qualifications and the girl tripped on her hurdle and rolled onto the board. It was pretty funny...
@KVHolland3 I thought I saw that lol..okay my eyes were not seeing things...I knew that girl feel lol. No I just think Russia, USA, Romania, and China will be the most consistent teams at the end of the day it will be one of those teams that wins. I think Russia has the perfect mix right now. America has great gymnast also and Im rooting for them. I want them to win gold some where besides in Atlanta lol. Russia though has had to rebuild and I love their story too.
this remix was made with matrix soundtrack... in my oppinion is just perfect, anda the coreography is the best she ever made. Hope she can hit the tumbling next time. Love her
i love her choreography
