both of the dunks can be argued over but there are things that each person that made the dunk hard but of course people are saying jordans was harder than serges because hes shorter but remember the fact that serge is probably heavier in muscle and because hes just a bigger man.but both guys put alot of effort into being able to dunk from that far away thats why its a freethrow line dunk!!

i think its amazing that Serge can jump that far for a big man. But the worst part about Serge's dunk is the score he got for it...

jordans jumpw is way higher and longer in duration than ibakas..Take a look as well how they hold the ball before dunk.. ibaka has the ball in his hands like he is goinf to dunk from the start because he knows that his jump hasnt got the duration needed. Jordan on the other side he raises his hand and the ball to dunk 1 sec after he leaves from the throwline.

Michael Jordan's was better, but still, give some credit to Ibaka. Almost every year someone in the Dunk Contest tries this, and fails. Ibaka was the one to try it this year, and I wouldn't consdiser it a fail.

yo they took of exactly from the same place, toe barely on the free throw line, and jordan landed way farther than ibaka and did not lose his balance and he actually put it down hard, ibaka kinda just dropped it in and grabbed the rim with the tip of his fingers and brang it down half an inch

Ibaka is practically landed, standing, by the time he dunks.

Just look at where MJ lands! Out of bounds and still moving forward, which means he jumped farther. Ibaka lands underneath the basket and almost loses his balance. Yeah, he might have taken off an inch or two behind where Jordan did, but MJ's dunk was way smoother, and he's about a half foot shorter! Haha

@xxthexxmojoxx Jordan landed where he did because he's shorter. That doesn't mean he would have been able to jump from further away and still dunk. Both of these guys were at their absolute limit. Because Jordan's shorter, his feet are further off the ground when he grabs the rim than Ibaka's feet. So, obviously, Jordan would land further than Serge because he has to jump higher.

Jumping higher doesn't make Jordan's dunk any better. Getting a body as big as Serge's 30" off the ground is just as impressive as getting a body as relatively small as Jordan's 40" off the ground.
