Thing is though, the House version includes the public option. I am for the public option because of competition. Tom Harkin was saying 62% of bankruptcies in 2009 is because of health care costs. With one or two companies controlling the state and jacking up prices, this is what causes this. Therefore, with the government competing with private insurers, costs will go down. However, some just don't realize that.

I'm sorry but 850 Billion USD isn't enough for 10 years. Companies can go through a Trillion in less then 2 Minutes let alone a whole entire nation. Besides even if you think 850 Billion could it is impossible ~ the price of medical equipment holy man it's costly. And Doctors as well, even if you give them low pay then it's not good quality health care.

This doesn't do anything to contain the cost. All it does is get us deeper into dept and raise our taxes. They didn't suggest tort reform, buying insurance across state line etc. This is the liberal way. Thank God the dems will be fire in 2010 and Obama in 2012.

Thing is though, the House version includes the public option. I am for the public option because of competition. Tom Harkin was saying 62% of bankruptcies in 2009 is because of health care costs. With one or two companies controlling the state and jacking up prices, this is what causes this. Therefore, with the government competing with private insurers, costs will go down. However, some just don't realize that.

What's going to be done in regards to Dental Coverage?
Medical, YES! However, we can't forget Dental coverage for those who are over the age OF 18.
Also a lot of Jobs/Unions are cutting out the dental coverage for their employees as well not allowing them to add their wife, husband and children.
How do we fix that? I mean it's a bit sad to not be able to afford dental/medical coverage, but to have the advantage with your job and your family don't can have a toll on that individual.

Dental care is preventative if you brush and floss 2-3 times a day you will probably would not need a lot of dental care.

@OutSpokenGamer I don't have a problem with cigs...I say "smoke'em if ya got'em" but don't expect tax payers to pay for your lung transplant...UNLESS...we continue to increase the tax on smokes to about $15 bucks a pack to include money for health care for cancer patients.
