I'm from Canton and the Bluecoats have been my fav for 22 years yet I fucking love the Blue Devils more and more each day. They have 1 black person in every part of there battery and a female along with an asian which shows diversity. They play awesome and they look awesome....it's no wonder they're world champs so much...go Devils!

It seems like the judges just give the blue devils their scores, because they are the blue devils. I went to a show 3 days ago, and I thought scv was MUCH more entertaining, and an overall better show. But the BDs got the higher score...

no definately not. i wasnt there so i cant tell you for sure, but their scores and placements have been consistant all season. i dont think their picking favorites.

sometimes the most entertaining shows aren't always the cleanest or the best. i understand what you're saying though. sometimes when a very entertaining show is easy and it scores lower than a much more difficult show that was not executed quite as well, you see difficulty and challenge play into scoring with the judges. and yes sometimes reputation can stain a score as well.

i can assure you with about 80% certainty that they worked on basics. However, i agree, that roll at the end was pretty bad for the blue devils. I can also assure you with about 70% certainty that they don't add in the "dances" until after the music is down.
