  • He was a real talent.

  • Was hoping this was not just a slideshow...

  • he was the best

  • I was lucky enough to know Danny... Thank you for your kind words and inspiration... and we will get to play that game of basketball in heaven one day...

  • only had the pleasure of seeing Danny once ... his show just hit me like a ton of bricks ... outside of Sammy Davis Jr , I found his entertainment made him the most enjoyable entertainer - I hav eever seen ! RIP and godspeed Danny !

  • Thank God, I have found the late Danny Gans video. His name escaped me for a fews months as I caught him in Larry King show before he died. What a great impersonater!

  • oh my god i didnt know he was gone so sorry. i was a big fan of duet and open house

  • His death was a real shocker. He rose up the hard way in Vegas -- on talent and audience buzz.

  • im shocked here in ireland, this is true my friends, i was doing danny gans impressions from his routine tonight in a car on a long journey for a lady, and suddenly i got a ext message from vegas to say he was dead, i am stunned. he will be remembered as one of vegas all time greats, larry king said it all, IVE SEEN EVERY ENTERTAINER THE WORLD HAD TO OFFER BUT DANNY IS THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN.

rest with jesus my friend, your topping the bill in heaven.

  • He seemed like such a regular, nice guy. Doing impressions well is not so easy.

  • Great tribute. I hired Danny yrs ago for a corporate function before he was known. He was great. I saw him twice in Vegas years later. Still great and the best I have seen. But I can't believe he died of natural causes and no foul play, and not because he was a health nut. The two biggest acts on the strip (and on the same marquee), were Danny Gans and Sigfried and Roy...Now by a twist of fate, both acts are both over? And they each brought in 50+ million a yr. Too coincidental

  • I was so sorry to hear of his passing on The View today. I just saw him on there, not long ago, and I was so impressed with his talent, and how nice he was. This is very sad. He was so young. God needed his presence in Heaven.

  • and danny was the nicest man in show biz

  • Danny was GREAT. I hope to see him in heaven one day to say "thanks for bringing so much joy to so many people". My deepest prayers go out to his family.

  • Some stars shine so brightly they burn themselves out... Yet they leave a lasting and lifelong impression of their joy, their light, and their love for what they did to make our days better.

    R.I.P. Danny

  • Very sad... My heart goes out to his wife and children...

    RIP Danny

  • So Talented.. So sad..

Danny will never be replaced.. Just seen his show..

  • He was the Best.. Just seen his show and it was a surprise!!

WOW.. I left wanting more and I want to get his Video to play again.. Rest in Peace.. Sooo talented.. Lee Ann in Iowa

  • sympathy and respect to his family and friends

    A great voice.

  • Sorry to hear about his death. Sympathies to his family for losing him so early.

As for ugly rumor mongers...I'm a healthcare analyst and you have no idea how many people die "young" from early heart disease, illness, and various congenital anomalies. That's why we have life insurance.

  • Thank you for this beautiful tribute to Danny Gans. I never saw him or heard about him when he died. I've been watching all the youtube videos and I realize what a great talent he was.

So, when you are called home, do you say "no"? So sad that his wife found him not breathing in their bed. A lovely man.

Thanks again for posting this tribute.

  • We all love you Danny Gans, you will be missed. Your family will be in my prayers.

Rest in Peace, we will all remember you.

    <3

  • Loved Danny Gans. Saw his show twice. He was a "light" in a dark city. He loved his Lord and his family. Our loss, Christ's gain. We will miss him. We're praying for his family.

  • Let's not assume the worst. Many seemingly healthy young men die unexpectedly from cardiac events, who knows. Danny, you will be missed. Thank you for making so many smile. RIP <3

  • if he only would of saw what Elvis did

    DRUGS KILL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When are we gonna learn folks

    DRUGS WILL KILL YOU !!!!!!!!

  • Any Danny Gans conspiracy theories out there? It seems mysterious. Conflicting news reports: 1. He passed away in his sleep 2. He woke up with shortness of breath. Also, the time of death is conflicting: 1. Larry King reports he passed at 1:30am. 2. Other reports say 3:44am, someone called 911 and was he still alive having breathing problems. There's been a toxology report requested, which is only done to test for drugs. Danny barely even drank.

  • According to his crew and his wife, he was having some shortness of breath after his show. The 911 call mentioned he had the breathing issue earlier in the evening. He HAD been ill, but kept it quiet.

Depending on the time zone, the time of death would be conflicted--Larry King is on Eastern time and LV is on Pacific.

NV always does a toxicology report when someone dies unexpectedly, when there is no clear cause of death. It isn't a slur on him, but just common practice.

  • We saw this fantastic entertainer twice at the Rio and every penny spent for the show was well worth it.

    Best show of all time.

Incredible talent and through it all we all felt his warmth and love for humanity.

Hugs to his wife and children....Their loss is monumental .

    Luvya Danny , Rip buddy.

  • Great Tribute. I saw Danny Gans perform a few years back...never forgot it as he was simply incredible. He was certainly a tremendous ambassador for Las Vegas and by all accounts a great humanitarian as well. Far too young to leave us...this one hurts real bad. RIP Danny

  • Thanks for posting the video. Danny Gans was the greatest entertainer of our time.

  • You never "get over" a love ones death you just have to learn to live without them. There's a difference.

  • that's what i meant

  • LIfe is like this...it comes and goes....I wish I had seen him in person....He sounds wonderful...one of the best....

  • I was a classmate of Danny at Torrance High School. Danny! we will miss you and your impressions in Class

    May you rest in peace

  • Danny was amazingly talent but also did so many wonderfully charitable things for Las Vegas. We lost an amazing man today and it's rightfully dark and gloomy here today. RIP Danny we love and miss you so much already.

  • So much life to give and so little time.

An Extraordinary Man! RIP my friend.

  • it's too bad you passed Mr. Gans..RIP..wish i could have got to see your show

  • Bravo with this Vid....Classic with Tony and a vid tribute. I've been at box offices, competiors...Mr. Gans you did bring up the Bar on the Strip and bring out our "A" game.

    Thanks for posting this tribute.

  • I have wanted to see Danny's show for MANY years. On Feb 14th, I got married in Las Vegas and saw Danny finally at Encore. I can't believe two months later he is gone. I wonder how he passed?

  • Thank you such a beautiful tribute.. He will be missed here in Vegas. He was not just an outstanding performer but an amazing human being. just check out his web page and see just some of the charities he helped out with his time and money. i hope the strip goes dark for a couple minutes to honor him they have done that for other celebs. Like Sammy and Regan. I think Danny deserves it to from a community that he gave so much to. Godspeed Danny!

  • One of the best. He will be missed.

  • love you man you were the best rip danny

  • Danny was loved so much in Las Vegas because he was such a truely generous and warm person with such a warm heart and soul. I never got to see him perform, but my parents did and they said he was the best! My heart and prayers go out to all Danny's family, friends, and fans! I hope you perform your wonderful act for all the angels in Heaven Danny! Rest in Peace.

  • What an incredible entertainer.What a life.What a world.

  • Danny's passing today a tremendous lost to all of us and to Las Vegas as we know it. As the saying goes, "the show must go on," but a a big part of it will forever be missing. RIP.

  • Amazing Entertainer, we have lost a true star..

  • Im gonna miss all those Danny Gans signs on top of the Taxis
