@BigChiefMike For starters, an airsoft gun is at least a good couple of hundred less than a paintball gun. For example, Systema professional training weapons are the most expensive around, just over £1000, yet I often see paintball guns for well over that. Add that to the fact that it costs around £70 for 100 paintballs (compare that to 5000bbs for around £10) and the price sky-rockets.
@sockschappercat maybe the prices are different where you are. But decent airsoft guns in the US are quite pricy where as you can get a good paintball gun for much less. Paintballs are more expensive but that load out for the Airsoft stuff in way more pricy.

@zseartcc25 they shouldnt really be considered on the same page, airsoft and real steel. sure, airsoft guns are modeled after real steel, but airsoft is used in a much different way. some countries restrict real guns, so airsoft comes in to play there. with airsoft, you can play with your friends, wear tac gear, and basically play a more grown up version of action figures like when we were kids. its a lot of fun actually, and gets you away from games like COD and out doing something
@zseartcc25 also, with airsoft, i can spend about 20 bucks for 5000 rounds, while it would cost nearly 100 times that for that many real rounds. and you can shoot in your basement (with a bb trap system), in your backyard (just not out in the open) and you can go play at a field and just have a load of fun. its much different than people really think of it, its not just 12 year olds running around like its cod, theres a high majority of older guys who play more seriously.
I hope to what ever god up on high if there is one.... that on top of that air rifle is that a real ACOG.... there are more deserving rifles it should be atop.... LIKE THE REAL THING!

And we have only one shop selling the G&P WOCs and they are also out of stock the most time, just waiting for the M16A1 a long time ^^ The problem in the states is that as far as I know the only legal GBB M4/M16 is the King Arms all other brands are illegal for the ATF

Here, even wearing camouflage is not allowed (uniforms, hunting camo is allowed and sadly hip clothes are fine to use - camo is the new black) but we are given some slack if we don't wear insignias which kills reenactment.

@Tomassssssso It's not a costume that you just can buy somewhere for 50$! You have to collect the stuff you want and also know what a real Marine has to wear. The best is you look for some photos of Marines you like and then get the stuff they wear. It's not cheap but its worth it

For all those bitching about the slow reload...If you want to get your gun back in action faster without dropping the precious gas mag, try a tactical reload. You'll be up and running in 5seconds or less with practice without chancing damage to those expensive gas mags. I do this with all my gas mags, those few seconds can make a difference. That being said, nice kit. That a working PEQ?
@headlesschicken6661 Normaly I use my dump pouch for that, but on that Video I forgot to put it from my plate Carrier to the OTV and I was not prepared to go without it ^^ The PEQ is sadly only a VFC replica, because of the german law we can't put working lights or laser on our weapons :(

@gabe562 most replica optics for airsoft are designed for AEGs where theres no recoil. More expensive clones like Hurricane might be able to handle the jerking around of each trigger pull, my 556 hasn't given me any problems yet. So you either spend $150 on a clone that won't work or around $1k for the real deal that will work, to each is own. I personally intend to go real steel sometime down the road when I can afford it.

@gabe562 Mostly they have not as much energy as a Paintball gun has, or its not allowed to play with to high energy because the BB transfers the Energy on a smaller spott at the impact than a Paintball does, I think a Paintball wont get stuck under your skin or in your lip ^^ And mostly you feel the BB atleast a little bit but mostly you hear a clear impact sound on the vest or helmet

@Grass221 Why would they make 50 dollar mags so easily breakable. I've dropped my 200 dollar phone many times on concrete, dirt, tile. Many things and it is just fine. I'm sure they made them with dropping them a whopping 4 ft to the ground. Don't be a baby and just drop the mag.

Don't hold it by the receiver, you look like a noob and you put some pressure on your mag. Also its best thing to do if you wanna mess up your aiming.
Also you're not holding your carbine straight, hold it by the rails or install a grip to gain more stability.

More expensive clones like Hurricane might be able to handle the jerking around of each trigger pull, my 556 hasn't given me any problems yet. So you either spend $150 on a clone that won't work or around $1k for the real deal that will work, to each is own. I personally intend to go real steel sometime down the road when I can afford it.

@headlesschicken6661 But you can buy a REAL optic for 150 that is not a clone, it just is not an ACOG, but works super great. No reason to buy an ACOG. I am still shaking my head at this but you do have nice gear kid. I just hope you have real guns if you can afford to spend that much. I have never played airsoft like this but do these guns even have the velocity that paintball gus have? With so much gear on, how would you know if an airsoft bb hit you? It's obvious with paintball.

@gabe562 Mostly they have not as much energy as a Paintball gun has, or its not allowed to play with to high energy because the BB transfers the Energy on a smaller spott at the impact than a Paintball does, I think a Paintball wont get stuck under your skin or in your lip ^^ And mostly you feel the BB atleast a little bit but mostly you hear a clear impact sound on the vest or helmet

Wow I love all the comments about slow reloading. (sarcasm) The title has nothing to do with reload techniques. Plus, this isn't Call of Duty. You don't run around in the open. Fast as possible reloads aren't necessary.

@Grass221 Why would they make 50 dollar mags so easily breakable. I've dropped my 200 dollar phone many times on concrete, dirt, tile. Many things and it is just fine. I'm sure they made them with dropping them a whopping 4 ft to the ground. Don't be a baby and just drop the mag.

it's not 50$ they cost 120$ ! And if you drop them on something hard they don't break but they can bend and then the stored Gas just leak out ! Cheap China 10$ Mags with no Gas tank inside can be dropped to the ground but not the WA ones!
