I know it was probably due to the limits of their special effects, budget, and/or allowable content, but did anyone ever notice, after being cut through, how he, and his equipment, somehow stay perfectly together for a second or two before falling apart?

I mean, his body fluids might allow some temporary cohesion of his body parts, but you'd think that parts of his clothes, equipment, etc. would just fall immediately after being cut, since there's nothing to really hold them together.
