now these men should be tried and taken to jail. i believe this issue is as big as the mau if not bigger and should be treated with such seriousness. we can not allow our own leaders to plunge our children to the oblivion of ignorance. and for those responsible why if you are willing to deny this right to other children you should start with yours IDIOTS
Nothing new, everyone will deny knowing anything, sacrifice few junior officers, move kenyans in circles and soon its all forgotten. Uhuru seems to know but the minister in charge of the ministry dont know???? Something else will come up and all this will be history yet the poor kids will not have basics in their classes.
IT will NOT be history though if our media was to keep pushing this to the forefront. Imagine all those scandals the media forgot to keep a tab on....
In an ideal world they would be given 1 month to recover the money or get sacked with no benefits. Ongeri is clearly sleeping on the job if he just found out about something that has been in the media for such a long time.
Another man down! But down should not be the worst that could happen to these baffoons! Theft of epic proportion such as that one being covered-up by this fool should be allaigned in court, with a view to death by a million cuts passing! OK, maybe a hefty prison sentence then. Children will go without a basic human want, as we cover these stories to a point of oblivion. Next thing you know, it is no longer spoken about anymore. I need not give examples.
ngai he has no clue what is going on in his own ministry. ntv can you make sure we hear the journalists asking those questions. because it doesnt seem like ongeri is having a hard time. grill him mpaka he sweats.
GULLIBLE MEDIA.... in most countries it is NOT the public that keeps pressure on leaders, it is the media. Look at the UK. Look at America. Why do leaders resign? The media HOUND them... and do not lay off scandals easily. I pray that it will be different this time round. That the media will keep the heat UNTIL and NOT BEFORE the issue gets resolved....
Ongeri, so far you do not seem guilty but may I say you are utterly incompetent and negligent. After all these time since the story broke out you still have no idea of what is going on in the Ministry, what are we to say about your job performance? Worse, you further your ineptitude by calling a press conference just to tell the public you have no idea about the whole saga? It doesn't get worse than this and I hope Kibaki wouldn't let it slip further. It is the bottom of the trough for me
