  • CHILE. I won the deal.

  • no shit dipshit

  • fuck Castro go get him Dexter

  • Yep.

The dictator before him was "Batista".

Should Have at least learned his name before comparing the two.

    What a clown.

  • I was a communist i soon started to notice myself that socialism works better than communism and capitalism because like your really going to work for the same price as someone who can't pull there weight are you? No! Also you don't want to work with a screwball who gets the parents to pay there way around things eg education, in life are you? No! Proper socialism not marxism works best because the the hardest worker and the well educated gets the most money and a better position in real work.

  • maybe marxism isnt the best system in the world, but i dont think youre giving the trade embargo enough credit for cuba's economic downturn. before the embargo, the US was one of cuba's best customers.

  • @einLesenderArbeiter Cuba was a capitalist country and thriving before the before the revolution in 1959 which Fidel Castro assumed power by force then turned to communism when Cuba took up arms with the USSR during the Cold War. The rise of Fidel Castro and turn to Communism was Cuba's undoing before the embargo took place in 1963.

  • Marxism doesn't work? The social democratic system of Norway is partially based on thoughs by Karl Marx. Check the list of countries sorted by best Human Development Index for more information!

  • @Sildesalaten that doesn´t change the fact that marxism doesn´t work. I mean Marxism not the norway system. As you said it´s based on ideas of marxism it is NOT marxism. To make marxism work you would need a country that can totaly live on it´s own AND you would basicaly need to be able to look into the future, because otherwise the people will eventualy get unhappy because they can´t get what they need when they need it.

  • @Sildesalaten Furthermore it wouldn´t work because it doesn´t matter how mutch you work you will get the same amount of let´s say food (just an example!)

  • @Sildesalaten : The "Scandinavian model," e.g the Swedish Economy and others ARE NOT purely socialist. Their primary objective is to maintain a welfare state - not a Socialist state with collective ownership and where the factors of production are ALL owned by the government. Sweden, as an example and paragon of the Scandinavian model has a high, re-distributive income tax within a hybrid capitalist economy that allows for the private ownership land and large companies like Ikea, etc.

  • @Sildesalaten: Socialism in practice never lived up to its ideals. When others criticize Socialism in practice - some claim that what we point to is not REAL SOCIALISM. ROFL. That is hypocritical, a double standard, and a joke. Why do I say this? . . . Because many of you like to preposterously criticize Capitalism by alluding to the war in Iraq (as an irrelevant example). You like to criticize it in practice and not in theory - but cry when we criticize Socialism in practice. Capish?

  • @Sildesalaten: Finally, UR fallaciously trying to link a Human Development Index to Socialism irrespective of the historical context and empirical evidence. Have you looked at a similar index during the height of the Cold War when more Socialist countries existed? - i.e Czechoslovakia, USSR, Hungary, Vietnam, etc?

That index which you draw an erroneous conclusion from has the USA, New Zealand, Australia, & Ireland in the top 5. Norway is NOT socialist! Your aim to deceive others is pathetic.

  • And capitalism is magic isn't it. You are a complete cock sir.

  • @alb0wski And you are big fucking troll.

  • You state that the left referes to Castro as a revolutionary, but you don't mention one politician from the left that has stated this. Who on the left said it? Why are you not critical also of Batista? My suggestion is that you do some research and stop quoting right wing radio talk shows. Castro needs to go, I agree. However, why ar'nt we as critical of China, Tailand(capital of child-prostitution) and Saudi Arabia? Their human rights issues are just asa bad if not worse. It's about $

  • Im cuban, and because of fidil castro, i cant go to my country.

  • this faggot internet word shouldnt be anywhere near this legend

  • COMMUNISM DOES NOT WORK!!!

  • Ha! One more country, one million slaughter limit. After that, no more quarters ... game over for that retarded economic religion.

    I love it. ( :

  • what fuck?

  • hv a nice dream bb,, if the something does not work, its obvious capitalisim!!!!!!

  • don't generalize the whole left by saying we all think Castro is a fucking hero

  • 1:23 funny, quick question; how many people have been killed by capitalism today?

now compare it to socialism. Point proven.

  • @MrE419 haha, well said.

  • @MrE419 mao killed 45 million, stalin killed around 2 million, pol pot killed 1 million people/on tenth died because of capitalism. I dont see your point

  • @landofthebravefull capitalism has caused an amount of slaughter that succeeds/is comparable to psuedo-socialist amounts.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @MrE419 no it isn't NO ONE HAS DIED DIRECTLY FROM CAPITALISM

  • @landofthebravefull What a load of horse shit. People die every day because of capitilism, and its wealth/food hording elite.

  • @Judicial78 alot more people die from the same reason in communist contries, the difference is that maybe one day the people in a capitalist might find a job, while the ones in cuba or laos will enebitlealy allways stay poor or flea to other contries

  • @landofthebravefull Those countries are more socialist dictatorships than anything. The key to the misery of the citizens in those countries is the dictatorship, not the socialism (in fact, even western countries have forms of socialism, such as social security and welfare).

The point is Communism can never work unless the government its run by is both democratic in its function and has access to every resource needed without dealing with Capitalistic countries.

  • @Judicial78 both laos india and chile had those things but they all had misery

  • @Judicial78 communism cant work that is the point, it never has and never will

  • @landofthebravefull Its like you just read part of my comment and disregarded the rest. I don't debate with people like that.

  • @landofthebravefull You don't get it. You have no idea what the hell communism is you just hate it because Daddy USA told you to hate it. Because mega-corporation CEO's are flying around in jets and living in mansions love fools like you who eat up all the capitalistic bullshit. Money/resources is the source of most war, coupled with religion. Remove both from this world you remove two cancers eating away at human cohesion and unity.

  • @Judicial78 Yeah right. That argument as been proven to be wrong.

  • @crocve No, it hasn't. Maybe in your little mind run by corporate pigs. How hard is it to imagine a world where every one shares resources rather than horde them? When you make an assertion like "that argument has been proven to be wrong" I am sorry if I do not accept that nor believe it on your face value assertion alone. At least provide some talking point or evidence or even logical discourse as to why.

  • since when does the left like Castro?

  • Why are you asking people for money so you can buy a camera? Why don't you come paint my house, do some real work instead of pasting your ugly mug expressing your stupid opinions? And it's not even entertaining. What a piece of shit... You're worse than a welfare recipient. Who is giving you money so that you can listen to yourself being an idiot? People, don't send this welfare recipient money... He's a lowlife moron. He preaches against handouts but then asks for them... What a con.

  • he didnt starve anyone and didnt put anyone in jail

  • @MrDizziest What da fuck you know you stupid fuck. I lived in Cuba and my father and other family members went to jail for political reasons. No need to go in detail but before you post something as stupid as what you just posted do some research loser.

  • No idiot....Fidel never said that communism doesn't work. He meant to say that the cudan model "idea of spreading communism throughout the world" failed. It doesnt work for them anymore. They just have to go about thier business and keep trading with other countries. go the the media agian....Castro says that US magazine misinterpreted his words.

  • @SudanCarib No, that's not what happened at all. You fucking idiot.

    Read the fidel quote again.

  • @BrettDunbar no no no no no There is "another" article that says that fidel castro says that he was misinterpreted by the U.S media By saying that qoute. which really means that is not what he meant. The journalist who interviewed him is a clown. He meant to say that the cuban model of spreading communism doesnt even work for them anymore. The country is still fine.

  • @SudanCarib I'm sure whatever he said, he'll continue to tout the success of communism while half of Cuba lives in shacks and he goes to retire in Switzerland.

  • @gcmb3790 Your chronology needs work.

  • This would make sense if economic growth didn't exist.

  • Didn't he say that it doesn't work anymore? "anymore" being the keyword

  • @steinarrexfaroensis

    That wasn't very long then...

  • @gcmb3790

IMHO people who go by the information that the mass media provides are clueless. The media promotes their owner's views and suppresses information about the works of the Reece Commission and the book thereof by Mr. Rene A. Wormser. Why not take a look at the book in amazon books store and see the reviews? Rene A. Wormser is a no-author because his book has been suppressed. Why not find out about works of the concressional Reece Commision and their report?

  • @Montacos Frankly the assertion that a book can be suppressed in the digital age is unequivocal bullshit.

  • @smiledammit24

The book was written on 1958, years after the Reece Commission Report was completed. It was then suppressed but many people have found it now, fifty years later. Do you dare to find out what the Reece Committee exposed? Google Reece Committee. Find "foundations their power and influence" in Amazon book tore.

  • @Montacos Okay so you want me to read a book about communism that was written over 50 years ago?

  • @smiledammit24

The book is primarily not about communism, it is about tax exempt foundations and their subversive influence in the society. Those foundations were established in the beginning of 20th century. They defined their principles and goals more than a hundred years ago. Those principles and goals had not changed during a half century until the fifties. When looking at the society today and what those same foundations do I maintain that their subversive principles and goals still remain

  • Comment removed

  • @gcmb3790

Crisis, wars and conflicts are manufactured to keep the human flock confused and manageable. Find out about the Reece Commission, Rene A. Wormser's book; Foundations Their Power and Influence. Anthony Sutton's books about the Bolshevik revolution, the rise of Hitler, FDR and their relationship with the Walls Street bankers. The truth is that wars and their preparation are business and create huge national debts that are used to control the nations. see - military industrial complex

  • "You only get one more try with one more country"? That obviously shows how little you know about socialism. Socialism can't develop in one country!!!!! The whole model of Marxism is internationalism where capitalist competition is to overcome and be overthrown by solidarity of workers in numerous countries.(Especially the ones that are highly industrialized) "Limited to one million killed"? Did capitalism ever worked by murdering less than one millions of people?

  • There are those in left(like myself) who are critical toward Castro. Castro's model was exact repetition of Stalin's and it was based upon "nation building" where propaganda emphasized one people's unity and sacrifice to build a new nation that can counter imperialist threat by greater exploitation and increasing population to increase labor force. There were no working class politic of Marxism since class issue was eliminated for prioritizing the issue of national security and development.

  • For your information, Castro's statement was put in out of context. And Castro himself even retaliated U.S. media on this issue. What Castro really said was that "Cuban model" doesn't even work for Cuba anymore in relation to global economic crisis. In other word, his point was that "Cuban model" can't work anymore under the condition where capitalism don't work anymore either.

  • Communism doesn't work? I wonder if it has anything to do with the U.S. declaring war on every communist country in the world and imposing crippling embargoes on those countries. The U.S. threatened sanctions against any country that traded with Cuba for years. I wonder if that had anything to do with the failure. You should change your channel name to "HowTheWorldWorksInMyOwnConsumeristFantasy". How about you get off Youtube and go see how the world really works.

  • Come on, dirt roads & 1950s cars, the bucolic towns (was that the word I was looking for?) Cuba's a paradise. All those people on boats just got lost while fishing off the coast. Socialism works, just look at the beard & green hat.

When u said u'll make a deal, & give them "one more try," my 1st thought was "yeah, Obama's gonna make us live it!" But then u said, "not the US." Me thinks we're too late. Obama = US -> UN IMF World Bank open borders one nation welfare ACLU Fascist Socialism NWO. :(

  • Have you heard of the NEP? and he was talking about how the current global crisis is making the cuban model not work as well as it should. they are forced to make changes.

  • You forgot Zimbabwe.

  • The logic of your subreality seems consistent. Marxism sucks! However, it is too obvious that you don't know or conciously exclude some facts. Cuba was not an enemy for the U.S. because they chose so, but because the U.S. wanted to make them their enemy. The U.S. could have lived peacefully with Cuba but instead chose to cut all business with them and also told the rest of the world to do so. Why was it that the U.S. loved Batista but hated Castro? Cuba was in cornered and had nowhere to go.

  • @Montacos

Ah, but Castro was America's darling while he was fighting the Batista regime. Then when he won independence for the country the U.S. shunned him so he went to the Russians. That's when it all went downhill. Once again, the U.S. creates it's own enemies. The U.S. needs foreign enemies to keep the focus off the crimes of the government.

  • @Devilock79

War is business, requires expensive weapons, creates national debt and makes us slaves of the international bankers. It was last week that Germany paid the last part of their debt of the WW1.

  • Viva Stalin.

  • You lost all credibility when you went on the Obama tangent.

    Besides that, I kinda agreed.

  • @HowTheWorldWorks If you think that Obama is a communist you are really mislead. Trust me, politically he's not even on the left.

BTW, he's not from Kenya either (just in case you didn't know that already).

  • Lol at taking things out of context.

  • I am sorry it took so long for me to get into your videos.

  • Nightmare on Michael Moore's street.

If Michael doesn't wake up screaming, he won't wake up for three days or for ever how long it takes for him to stop being a crybaby when his commie utopia, he doesn't want to actually live in, blows up in his face.

  • Communism = a nice theory, that must take place in some kind of magical fairy world where unicorns play and pigs fly and elves skip happily through an endless meadow of flowers in belief. And nothing but a rape of the people's liberties, and money in practice.

It's failed in EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY it's been tried in. Albert Einstein would tell you that Marxists are insane.

  • Maybe somebody should tell Michael Moore...

  • VOTE FOR ME - OZ !

  • please made a report about "Operation NorthWoods" I would like to listen your opinion about that subject since every conservative/liberal/libertarian avoid that event.

  • @HowTheWorldWorks, I'm confused, how is Obama implementing a command economy, or am I getting mixed up? It seems to me that the guy just doesn't like some neo-liberal reforms. Please explain.

  • Lol whatever - like so many countries in the Caribbean are flying successes - get a life - at least the people in Cuba have healthful - food and can read. Morw that can be said about Jamaica, Trinidad, Hatti ect..... BTW if Obama didn't buy half of GM ECT they would be gone now - Cause guess what??? US isnt competitive anymore - you think the GVT bought all the banks and car companies for fun??? Get real

  • well i say good for fidel through his epic trial and error and long term determination it shows the world it does not work all because we wouldnt let him play baseball he just needed a hug from another guy

  • heh sorry Americans, but i think the Soviets had a better Anthem.=p But for everything else the US of A rocks.

  • Castro never said that, he even came out and said his words were misenterpreted and twisted, not surprising from capitalist media

  • Fidel Castro never said that. It was mistranslated and taken out out of context. What is destroying Cuba are unjust sanctions, or embargo, that US imposed on Cuba contrary to International law. Every year there is a voting in UN General Assembly about US embargo against Cuba. Each year ALL the countries vote AGAINST the embargo with the exception of US and Israel. What is failing is the inhuman US policy against Cuba, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and many other countries in the world.

  • I agree that Socialism does not work. However, what has appeared in the so called "Communist States" is not Communist at all. They have all in word and practice been Socialist. Communism is an Anarchist ideology...and works even less then Socialism. However, throughout history, several Communues have been founded:

    Christiania

    Paris Commune

The reason Marxism has only worked on the smallest of scales is because it was designed to work only on the small scale. Read the Communist Manifesto

  • Thank you Communism is redundant on the scale of America or even China it just can't be done. 140 million workers uniting in America are not going to take care of 300 million plus people. Going to Mars will be Communism to make maybe 7 people sustain themselves but truly colonizing it with millions of people would have to be a truly free from one another endeavor.

  • American cars are good but the companies suck ass. Any way my problem is the lazy welfarers crying and complaining for handouts, education, healthcare, food and shelter. And also the minimum wage has run its course too, because people will work for less nowadays. I can hire guys off the street to work all day for 20 and a sixer of Old Milwaukee. And I know its true I've been doing it all summer long.

  • There's nothing revolutionary about leftism or socialism. It's the ideal of the STUPID PEOPLE who can't even pass basic economics. Liberals are SUCH! STUPID! PEOPLE!

    BTW, nice Gatsby cap, Lee.

  • @QuartuvLarry Hi. Just a question about "liberals". Why do you use this word to describe socialists? Surely you can be a liberal and a free marketeer? Your views on society don't have to be labeled a particular way just because your views on economics are. For instance you could be authoritarian socially but be right economically (Hitler) or left (Stalin). You could be liberal socially and be left economically (anarchist) or right (libertarian). 'Liberal' used in this common manner is confusing.

  • @kingdave84 Eh...good point. But the generalized paradigm has the two placed together. I personally am a libertarian (classical liberal, ironically) but you see the reprehensible adulation of tyrants and dictators by folks who call THEMSELVES liberals and progressives, and I wasn't about to be the first one to dispute their self-styled titles.

  • HO-LEE SHI-AAT!!! What if Castro-boy converted to capitalism? Could he DO anything about it?

  • Im sure those brave revolutionaries are weeping...

  • The US health system didn't work because the poor were left to get ill and die.

  • so its capitalism to the rescue? that doesn't work too well either. Wait isn't China communist? The country who bailed out the US? I'm not sure there is a mind under that cap.

  • @meadowsirl "Wait isn't China communist?" No, it actually is not.

  • @kubiczech25 not communist enough for you to be considered communist? regardless, its still communist.

  • @meadowsirl Sorry, economic system in China has nothing to do with communism. Political system is a different story.

  • Bigworm 242 and Wallyrus... Seriously I used to agree w/ everything you're saying but I was genuinely convinced by these people... Just check out Reason.tv and look for the series "Individualism versus Collectivism"

  • I'm loving it.

  • It is funny Lenin also admitted his Communism did not work in the end. In fact he purposefully encorporated some Capitalism into his Communism before he died because Communism failed so bad.

    Instantly the Economy grew.

Exept then Lenin died & Stalin the butcher took over.

  • There are other massive marxist failures in recent years!

Zimbabwe is one of them! Robert Mugabee & the Zimbabwe government is of a Marxist, Maoist platform.

Zimbabwe is such a disaster they have the lowest GDP growth in the world & no currency.

at one time Zimbabwe was "Suppose" to have had some of the best schools, socialism & hospitals in Southern Africa.

Now, it has no healthcare & schools for people with people digging up gold for bread. Others dying without bread.

  • Why do Americans think Cuba is some backward third world country? Judging by literacy, crime levels and the general health and happiness of it's people, Cuba is kicking the shit out of the US as a success story.

Americans are belligerently and boastfully ignorant, they gleefully shine their guns and hope somebody tries to break into their houses, they are obese and they fight to protect a system that is, basically, fucking them up the ass. USA! USA! USA!

  • @Wallyrus:

"Cuba is kicking the shit out of the US as a success story."

Castro and economic statistics say otherwise. But then, who is Castro if not a sold-out shill to the capitalist pigs, and what are statistics if not some evil capitalist invention to make the wonderful dogma of socialism look bad, huh?

"Americans are belligerently and boastfully ignorant,"

Said the economic illiterate who thinks that top-down central economic planning can actually work, lol.

  • Comment removed

  • @Wallyrus

Hello! Ye be under the Micheal Moore fallacy of Cuba, matey! All of those statistics ye mention, Literacy, Crime Levels, and Health, that make Cuba "great", every single last one comes DIRECTLY from the Cuban Government. That's not exactly the most unbiased source.

And while America be far from perfect, I must say that I am much Happier living in a country who won't throw me into a work camp merely because o' me sexual orientation.

Cuba be a story of Tyranny, not Success.

  • @Wallyrus Mmmhm A communism country lieing about their rates, what a weird concept.

  • Comment removed

  • Elaborate.

  • @USAGymnast

Of course he's responsible for his own actions. But similarly, will you acknowledge that the actions of the CIA also had a part to play?

  • down with communism, free market works, tried and true. It may not be perfect but it holds off economic slavery and starvation. Best model out there so far.

  • @weseyedwalk Communism has worked for Cuba, at least up until now, the people there are happy and fed, why do you have a problem with it?

  • @weseyedwalk Actually the free market has created the lower class and limits class mobility, meaning it's a system set up to make sure the poor stay poor.

  • Low interest, zero interest and subsidized loans provided by the government are not the same thing as socialist nationalization. If they were I would have become a slave to the government the second I started school.

  • @conspunk - no the actual number is 638. due to the freedom of info act, govt documents have been declassified that SPECIFICALLY state that there have been 638 failed attempts on his life. in fact you can see for yourself a video from FOX NEWS of all people an author who is ex cia who published a book about all of the attemmpts. im sure u can find it on utube. as 4 your "upper middle class", that is completely immaterial. the majority of immigrants are here due to NAFTA and US economic terrorism

  • does it occur to any of you narrow minded flag waving oblivious drones that cubas economic growth has been stunted by 50 YRS of ridiculous and murderous US SANCTIONS that has led to the starvation of hundreds of thousands of cubans? think that may have had something to do with so many fleeing the country? no1 comes here because the US is so great, they come here because much like mexico and iraq, we've starved the country...not to mention that the cia has made OVER 600 attempts on fidels life.

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY

I can see why you call yourself joeygoldcomedy, the statement you just said HAS to be a joke. Over 600 attempts on his life? Do you really think that the CIA would try to kill someone 600 times and fail?

And yes, please tell me why so many people over the centuries came to this country. Is it because we starved every single one of their countries? And why would they come to this evil oppressing place anyways?

  • @CommanderGene no the actual number is 638. due to the freedom of info act, govt documents have been declassified that SPECIFICALLY state that there have been 638 failed attempts on his life. in fact you can see for yourself a video from FOX NEWS ex cia operative that published a book about the 638 attemmpts. im sure u can find it on utube. and im referring to the root cause for immigration in 2010---globalization, NAFTA, "free" trade and the dozens of other ways that we 3rd-worldize the globe

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY

Show me some of these government documents, please. I highly doubt that the former head of Cuban intelligence is an objective source. Besides, even supposing that the myth of more than 600 assassination attempts is true, it's incredibly stupid to assume every single one of those was a CIA attempt.

  • @CommanderGene umm, i think u misread my comment. THE CIA ADMITS THAT THEY ATTEMPTED TO KILL CASTRO 638 TIMES. LOOK IT UP. GOOGLE, YOUTUBE, A LIBRARY WHATEVER IT TAKES. I DIDNT MAKE THESE THINGS UP---THE ADMISSIONS ARE OUT THERE.+"THE HEAD OF CUBAN SECURITY"?? Where did u get that from??? ru so blindly supportive of the US that you're delirious w/misinformation? who sed ANYTHING about "the head of cuban intelligence"?? Ive read declassified docs frm the CIA. Look em up. Not gonna dig em up for u

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY

The reason you can't dig them up for me is because you have to pull them out of your ass. There's a movie called 638 ways to asssassinate Castro, which I assume is the one you were referring to, and it cites Castro and his head of security as sources (and they obviously are objective sources as I've mentioned). I honestly don't see how anyone can believe that a crazy guy with a gun can murder a U.S president, but an inteliigence agency fails to kill someone 600 times.

  • @CommanderGene - what do u think all the g-20 protesters are rebelling against? globalization is a means of global exploitation of less industrialized nations that we keep marginalized basically economically terrorizing their population. the lions share of immigrants in 2010 america are here due to OUR "free trade" politics. if you dont believe that, i would look into our economic foreign policy a bit and see if u can figure out whats been happening for the last 50 yrs or so

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY If our free trade policies are doing so much to hurt other people, then why do they come here?

  • @scottysmo88 well, do the math. we set the tariffs, the prices, the restrictions, we go to columbia, for example+spray the crops of subsistence level farmers w/agent orange +other toxic chemicals that destroy their harvest. WHY? We own multinational corporations like United Fruit. So we control the monopoly on things like south american fruit because we own U.Fruit so the farmers competing with these HUGE corporations either starve and die or have to move to the wealthy victimizers: the US.

  • @scottysmo88 part 2- so, in closing, just understand that the poor and undereducated ppl who migrate here out of necessity are not thinking about politics when movin 2 the country of their victimizers, they r thinking about survival. another problem that our trade policies create is one of national security. If the millions of victims of our imperialism and globalization decide to unite against our government, we have a full fledged revolt. similar 2 how we trained Osama+ it came back 2 haunt us

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY

Free trade is essential for any economy. One of the reasons the great depression started is because the government forced high tarriffs on European goods.

You're also ignoring the fact that we've always had millions of immigrants come to this country, even BEFORE 2010. How do you explain that?

  • @CommanderGene wow. ru seriously askin me this? why have people come to the US? i mean this is 4th grade stuff. in the 1st wave of immigration the US needed cheap labor. a HUGE% of them were killed or mutilated in unsafe factories working 16 hrs a day for practically zero. The 2nd wave (post ww2) was mostly due to our imperialism, invasions, CIA backed coup d'etats and topplings of democratic leaders like allende and so on. Then, NAFTA+other forms of globalization destabilized a ton of countries

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY

I like how you jumped from the 19th century directly to WW2. Just a sidenote, Allende wasn't the first dictator who was elected democratically (Hitler, anyone?). Furthermore, what would keep immigrants coming here time and time and time again, if the living conditions were shit, and if we destabilized their countries? Immigrants like myself come here because America has such a high standard of living and more freedom than any other country.

  • @CommanderGene FUCK ur such a flag waving brainwashed fucking zombie...ALL OF YOUR INFO IS WRONG. SHUT THE FUCK UP---U HAVE ZERO KNOWLEDGE OF FOREIGN POLICY ---UR NOT EDUCATED UR JUST A FUCKIN IMMIGRANT WHO, LIKE EVERY OTHER FAKE-EXPERT-IMMIGRANT ON YOUTUBE - THINKS THEY HAVE AN INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS JUST BECAUSE THEY MOVED HERE!!! U ARE A FUCKIN UNINFORMED IDIOT.

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY

Wow, you seem like such an imperialist capitalist pig, making fun of a poor little immigrant like me :( lol do you even realize your hypocrisy, blaming America for mistreating immigrants, then insulting me for not being American? Good job retard.

  • @CommanderGene ---LAST COMMENT---->U HAVE NO DEGREE, NO INFO, NO KNOWLEDGE. ALL OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE IS BASED ON SHIT U GOOGLE. IVE READ 1000S OF BOOKS ABOUT OUR FOREIGN POLICY AND IM DONE WASTING MY TIME ON SOME1 WHO DOESNT KNOW SHIT AND IS GONNA TRY TO "wIKI" THEIR WAY TO BEING INFORMED!!! READ A BOOK, TAKE A CLASS THEN COME BACK AND TRY TO DEBATE ME

  • @JOEYGOLDCOMEDY

For someone who read thousands of books your spelling is horrible. I'm an immigrant and I speak English better than you.

  • @CommanderGene He is a troll, I wouldn't bother with that idiot.

  • @joshrocks11

You're probably right, I don't see how anyone can be so deluded as to honestly support communism unless they're trolling

  • @CommanderGene He is not trolling, he is a young kid who was probably told off this bullshit by his parents and he is just reiterating all of it.

  • @CommanderGene \\\\"And why would they come to this evil oppressing place anyways?"////

    ....because Americans are good liars.

  • @Wallyrus

Very good liars, somehow we also managed to force immigrants here to lie to their families and tell them everything here is much better. And those must be some pretty crazy immigrants, being fooled for 2 centuries.

  • wow- this is extremely ill informed. another product of the american educational system that get the scraps left over from the absurd military budget. buddy, how many countries has CUBA invaded in the last century? does imperialism work? so narrow minded

  • OMG, i cant hear so much bullshit anmore... Byeee

  • The fact of the matter is that not everyone can afford good health coverage. You said that competition is what drives success, so obviously the private health insurance industry isn't being competitive enough... so perhaps the private health insurance industry should have a public option as competition.

  • Comment removed

  • @Wallyrus The lack of competition in the healthcare market is largely by government design. A public option isn't competition, it is subsidization.

  • @Wallyrus

The public option isn't effective competition, since it's not going to be held to the same restraints as private companies. If a private company can't be cost-effective, it goes out of business. If the public option isn't cost effective, it will only be given more money.

If we need more competition, why not relax some of the regulations that limit competition? For example, let insurance companies sell across state lines, so they have to compete nationally, rather than only in-state?

  • @shamgar001 \\\\\"....public option isn't effective competition....not going to be held to the same restraints as private companies."/////

lol Are you saying that the public option isn't FAIR to the private companies? Boo-hoo! You're starting to sound like a communist! Oh no, that scary public option is actually going to provide the service the people are paying for.... we can't POSSiBILY compete with that!

  • @Wallyrus

Gene just wants government in order to have a police and military to crush the working class and protect the property of the wealthy.

  • @BigWorm242

No, I want government to stick, ya know, to what it's actually supposed to do according to the constitution, i.e. protect its citizens from foreign and domestic dangers. If you weren't a complete idiot you would also have seen that I said the government should provide some welfare to its citizens. I merely disagree with people like you who claim the government should rob the rich so that people like you can feel better about being failures.

  • @CommanderGene

Who says I'm a "failure"? People who have fallen on hard times are NOT "failures" or "lazy" or "parasites". The welfare queen is a myth. Nobody wants to rob the rich, we want the rich to stop robbing the working class!

  • @BigWorm242

Working class people are far from failures. Failures are people who advocate a system of creating parasites because they can't achieve the success of the people they want to rob. Regardless of what you say, there ARE people who benefit off of welfare and government handouts, because they have no motivation to work once they see the government pays for everything.

  • @CommanderGene

The parasites are the rich who make money on the back of the workers. Workers do not receive the full value of what they produce because owner pays him as little as he can get away with to take profits. Many argue that he owns the machines so it's his right, but how did he get the money to invest in the first place? Likely either by being born into it or by exploiting other workers down the line.

  • @BigWorm242

The market and competition decides how much each worker is paid. A simple job that a factory worker does can be performed by many people; thus, he is paid little. A person like a doctor or an engineer, who has much more rare and specialized talents, is naturally paid more than a worker, because they are much fewer. The rich make so much money because people are willing to pay them for their product. If their product fails, then they make no money. It's simple.

  • @CommanderGene

Socialism does NOT make parasites! One of the main principles is "He who does not work, neither shall eat". It's not about the government just giving everyone money for existing, that is a common misconception people have.

  • @BigWorm242

As I said, I don't care what the principles of socialism are, I care about what its consequences are. Are you telling me that countries like France and Greece where the retirement age is in the low 50s and low 60s don't create parasites? What else would you call for someone whose existence you have to pay for for 20 years during which time they're not producing ANYTHING?

  • @CommanderGene

Yes, people should work until the drop dead. The elderly are parasites on society.

  • @BigWorm242

You're exaggerrating. I was saying that people shouldn't retire at age 50, which is ridiculous, I never said "let old people die"

  • @BigWorm242 How do the rich rob the working class? Are you talking about them not paying their employees enough? What is considered rich anyway because most people work for small businesses, not the big corporations with the billionaire owners.

  • @CommanderGene So, you think that other than having a government to wield the nukes, the USA should be anarchist? You talk about the constitution, a document which was crafted to ensure that life in the US is fair to all american; reserving the descent health care and education for only those lucky enough to have been born to rich parents is NOT fair. There is no class mobility in the US, it is a caste system.

  • @Wallyrus

Protecting the citizens from force, having a strong military to protect them from foreign threats, having a police to defend them from internal threats =/= anarchy. The Constitution was made with certain rights in mind; rights FROM government interference. Once you give people rights "to" housing, rights "to" healthcare, that means those rights infringe on someone else's rights.

  • @CommanderGene \\\\\"Once you give people rights "to" housing, rights "to" healthcare, that means those rights infringe on someone else's rights."////

You're basically saying that if you took away the unfair advantage someone has, who was born into a rich family, then they tragically wouldn't feel as rich. You're essentially saying that rich people are more American than poor people.

  • @Wallyrus

Not all the rich are born into their inheritance. Some of them made their way to the top based on their own work. Besides, this is a free society, should those born into their wealth be robbed of their money?

And I'm saying that it's wrong for the government for the government to rob someone to pay for someone else's debts. The Constitution's rights provide for defense FROM government, it doesn't give the gov the right to intervene in people's lives

  • @CommanderGene \\\\"Besides, this is a free society, should those born into their wealth be robbed of their money?"////

No, I'm saying that money should have less to do with ones quality of life. A person born into a poor family should not have to work 20x harder to reach the same goal a rich person simply inherits.

I mean, G. W. Bush became PRESIDENT, a job he was entirely unqualified for, simply because of who his father is. This makes you happy?
