Well I had a flush done on my truck. What they don't tell you to do when you have a flush done is. After you flush you need to run oil though the block with the drain plug still off. And then change filter and fill and at 1000miles or 1 month change oil and filter again. Flush should not be done unless you are having problems with the oil getting sludgy and in some cases it can unclog oil rings.

@jeprigst1 Well that's crap, On my last oil change it came out all sludgy and black, Filled it up with good quality fully synthetic oil and within 2 days it was black and sludgy again.

You know why? because after draining the old oil, the engine retain about 3/4 liter old oil inside that includes all the sludge & other by-products of oil oxidation like water & acid. you add the new oil & its like mixing it with the left-over old oil. Do a flush every 40,000 kms. As a precaution, don't do it if it's the 1st time & ur odometer is over 100,000 kms already.

Engine flush is good for your engine but only when done in the right time. notice ur engine oil after an oil change. ran the engine for about 5 minutes & rev up a few times. kill the engine & check ur oil dipstick. see how the new oil changed to colored dark oil.

your right engine flushes can according to honda vw nissan ford ect can clog up other component part and tubes with the gunk from old oil and could be so serios that you need a whole new engine

Anyone who thinks that engine flushing isnt good is a retard. Use your common sense. My cars oil looked clean after a full oil change for about a week till it turned to sludge again. After this flush it stayed clean for months. Use your brain people.

yeah if you change your oil every 3,000 miles the oil should not turn to sludge at all. if you clean your engine your oil pump will get cloged with shit. Check it out HONDA TOYOTA VW all say dont do this

Engine flush is a waste of time and money.

If your engine has low compression or blows alot of smoke it needs a re-build and no magic liquid is going to fix it.

These "magic" engine flush liquids are basically Kerosene and diesel.

If you want to keep you engine in good condition, change the oil and filter every 5000km. Even if you have a car with a service interval of 30000km, just change the oil and filter every 5000km and it will last forever !

So easy, and cheap !

i used to just change my oil and add a additive, now im going to start flushing it, not only because it said we should but it shows me why i should, and how it effects my engine

It is the only Engine Flush made with a TUV rating. No other Engine Flush has this rating. Same goes for the Fuel Line Cleaner. Best product made for these services. I used all others ..Wynns,Granitize,Moc and Amsoil,Zmax is a joke......... nothing works like the Pro Tec product line!!!

if you are using quality oils there's no need to flush yours engine with some 3rd party cleaners, all quality oils already have special additives to clean and maintain yours engine clean all the time.

Coolant flushing is a good idea, its reverse flushing that isn't a good idea.
