I really don't like the light elves because they are so mean and arrogant! I like the dark elves better because they are not like the light elves, they somehow neutral... Well, according to Radiata history the dark elves are the children of the elven king and a human female.

no one dies, gosh ppl in the non human side Lucian explains that ppl only wanted the dragons cause they believed in them and when he dies he says the humans dont need dragons anymore...blah blah HAPPY ENDING ! but the game needs a sequel , i know Larks and Zane understood what happened but do they just forget everthing that happened and welcome Jack and Ridley back into the village? And does Zane die from Algandars (i wish he does he seemed a little evil to me)

I think both endings stink. . I've seen people say that everyone died (including Jack) during the non-human ending, but I don't see how. The Silver dragon dies in both endings, so how come all humanity doesn't die in the human path ending? Also, the other races lost their dragons but they didn't become extinct. And if all humans were wiped out in the HP ending how did they die? The world wasn't obliterated, everybody just dropped dead? That's too bogus.

I think the non human ending is more or less open to interpretation. I would like to believe that they both live happily ever after, but to me it seems that Jack died along with the rest of the humans. I'm curious to know how this happened though since, after he was defeated, Aphelion stated that humans no longer need dragons to guard them

It's so sad! Why do endings always suck! It's such a great game and then it totally crashes at the end. You try so hard to defeat the silver dragon and that's what you get. (are happy endings too much to ask for?)
in my oppinion this game if you beat both endings you could rebeat it only its harder and recieve a midle choice neutral talking ridley into you guys trying to bring peace to both sides and ganz and your sister become partners to and finally at the end aphellion is beatten by everyone the dragons are saved and everyone lives togethor peacefully. but the game was to stupid to make a middle choce if you agree with a neutral choice thumbs up
That's Flora. The girl who shows up at the end (and at the fireworks festival) is the girl who you've talked to the most/been in the party the longest.
heres a question,which girl did everyone get when they finished? This one shows that medical girl....I got lily my first time winning,another time Valkyrie(SCORE!! ) then another time i got the dual age girl...then Star...x.x; and then some other weird ones...guess its whoever u use the most.
One of the cutest though,was Genus's little sister showing up at the gate!

HUMAN PATH - you kill the one who saved the human species cause he had to kill your girlfriend to save the world.
NON-HUMAN - you become a traitor & decide to kill off your whole species & betray the kingdom your father died to protect in order to "protect" your girlfriend.
they both really suck...one of the worst storyline in an RPG I ever encountered..

I really am a fan of the game, but i wish you could have had more choices to make that would influence the ending of the game. As far as i know there are only 2 endings, 1: Ridley Lives, her and jack live happily ever after. 2: Ridley dies and Jack leaves Radiata (prolly back to his sister or something)

Liked this ending better. I don`t think I want to save one person and sacrfice the whole human race just for that. And besides, I grew to know more of the humans than the non humans and yea, shinzombie is right. The elves can be such snobs 99% of the time

@BlazingAbyss hrmm i wouldnt know i havent played the game in a while, and i usually have a female party member just because they tend to have the skills that are preferable. So i doubt i'd see this happen to me. I'd like to assume that would be true logically but i wouldn't know for sure,i believe there are some games that have little 'holes' in them because a certain event wasn't expected or thought all the way through. But i can't be sure if this game is one.
I like this ending,its better because pretty much explains that he surpassed his father and lived happy after a while,I hate the fact that people think that he was in love,how?,ridley and jack didn't spend time together in this path,it was just a close friendship
@E101Gamma101 Everybody doesn't live on the non human side. I just beat the game about 20 mins ago and Gawain and Ganz die (which was really stupid. Nothing could be done about Gawain but Ganz didn't have to stay in the City of White Nights while it collapsed all around him). And I wouldn't say Jack and Ridley are really happy b/c we hardly see them at the end, which was lame. It was a pretty crummy ending.

Those fairy creatures kinda deserved, most of them waste all thier time in silly things and are arrogant, they look down upon other races (You can read it in the friend list) Even the dragons underestimate the humans. Well the Radiata Knights are mean people too, but at least most human from the guilds are brave and gentle.
Lol, I don't really mind lol, coz #1, I know I can't put up a good argument *_*, and #2, the humans are really just trying to live their lives, uhh, lol... and also, the Gold or the Silver dragon wanted to take a human or something as the vessel...? For the human end, I'm just assuming, since I didn't see any fairy creatures at all. Meaning, that they all died and humans lived on. For non human ending, humanity died except for two people. Which does not make sense.

Personally I prefer the human ending. The fairy ending is just scary. I mean, the fact that I killed all those people just to go on a date with someone doesn't sound right. Radiata was like a freaking ghost town! =O

What? I got the Dragon Lair once already... I beat the Ethereal Queen already. For the first time I ever played Radiata Stories, I finished the Non-human Path. I forgot how I was able to start a new file, but I saved a New Game+ on my Non-human Path and loaded (All my money and skills were still there). That's when I built up for the Human-path, and got the Dragon Lair thing. I finished the Human-path. I loaded the 'Strong From Start'. This is my third playthrough, so how do I get Dragon Lair?
you have to compleat EVRY mission and you CAN'T MISS EVEN1 MISSION and when he joins you use the link stem with him to learn a powerful skill called "fighting spirit"
It's wierd, I would have been more satisfied with Jack standing and looking at Radiata then an END popping up and it just standing there until you press start or something rather then seeing him walk aray.

But i like ridley and dont want her to die in the second part. and the non humans did not do anything really bad to the humans. they did not deserve it.. but i wanted to stay in the city. every thing just sucks. this is a great game. i loved it so much. gah. i hated to choose the paths. grr. the enddings also disappoint me too, though the Non human one made more since.
I only read up on the fireworks event after it happened, so I didn't even know what was going on. ^^; I was always my own healer, so Lily was my date by a comfortable margin.
This ending is SO much better. I appreciate the whole Jack/Ridley dynamic and the balance of the cosmos and everything, but seeing everyone happily going about their business was far superior to coming back to a damn ghost town.
then again, it was nighttime, maybe everyone somehow slept through the massive eruptions and the night people went somewhere, like Denny's, hahahaha...
You buy it in the H side from a store. Ironically, you can never get that exact outfit on the cover, cuz I'm pretty sure you can only get the sword in the NH side XD

Dude, he killed Ridley. Even if she was shooting rainbow out of her ass, tripping balls on coke and killing infants, she still was a dear person to Jack. So of course he got pissed off. I would be more worried if it gone like "She could have destroyed the world" - "oh, is that so ? Well, damn, normally I would get mad but I'm just a 2D character with no motivation."
Everything is irreverent when compared to your beloved person, you'll learn when you get one.
Back to the topic, he shown no remorse. He didn't love humans, he "loved" humanity as a concept. So if he found another one who he though that "endangers" the species, he would kill them with no second though. The same would go for someone who tried to stand up to him, like Jack. And soon, whole humanity would try to fight him and be killed. Don't be short sighted. He was a monster and he had to die.

They should really make a sequel to this game. This game is amazing and it's like no other. The characters are fun and the gameplay is great.I also feel awkward after seeing Jack just walk off like that.

With Jack and Ridley walking towards the castle holding hands in the nonhuman path and with Jack going on a long journy alone in the human path both make you wander what will happen next!
I don't know why but in a way the last part where jack is standing alone, outside the city would have been a bit more dramatic if he screamed "Ridley!!!!" echoing, fading the picture.. LOL well thats me doing an observation on a romantic perspective.

Wow. The entire human path is a constant reminder that you made the wrong decision. It makes me want to cry watching this and knowing that Jack and Ridley couldn't be together because Jack chose not to follow her.
This ending made me cry man. It isn't fair that Jack and Ridley can't express their love. The ending was really good...watching Jack go off on his own to unknown lands. I still have a couple of questions though. First, where did Jack place Ridley? Second, Where is Jack going? Finally, Will there be a second part to this?
i thought the human ending was the good ending. because the elfs are dying, the dwarves and dragons are dead.leaving only humans. and with only humans left the world would balance itself out and the disease would stop. i guess im wrong oh well.
In my opinion, the nonhuman path's ending is a bit happier than the human path. Even if Ganz stayed by his father and I assume he's already dead, at least Jack still has Ridley. :3

@BlazingAbyss hrmm i wouldnt know i havent played the game in a while, and i usually have a female party member just because they tend to have the skills that are preferable. So i doubt i'd see this happen to me. I'd like to assume that would be true logically but i wouldn't know for sure,i believe there are some games that have little 'holes' in them because a certain event wasn't expected or thought all the way through. But i can't be sure if this game is one.

@E101Gamma101 Everybody doesn't live on the non human side. I just beat the game about 20 mins ago and Gawain and Ganz die (which was really stupid. Nothing could be done about Gawain but Ganz didn't have to stay in the City of White Nights while it collapsed all around him). And I wouldn't say Jack and Ridley are really happy b/c we hardly see them at the end, which was lame. It was a pretty crummy ending.

Well, I prefer the human path ending to the non human.
Those fairy creatures kinda deserved, most of them waste all thier time in silly things and are arrogant, they look down upon other races (You can read it in the friend list) Even the dragons underestimate the humans. Well the Radiata Knights are mean people too, but at least most human from the guilds are brave and gentle.
I think the humans deserved survive.

Is it me, or is it that both of the endings are pretty much depressing?
For the human end, I'm just assuming, since I didn't see any fairy creatures at all. Meaning, that they all died and humans lived on. For non human ending, humanity died except for two people. Which does not make sense.
..Actually, I'm pretty much confused.

Can anyone help me? I completed the Non-human and Human paths respectively. I finished The Dragon Lair Cave 2x and beat Ethereal Queen with lvl 99 Jack, Alicia, Valkyrie, and Kain. I saved 2 files. On the other one, I loaded 'Strong From Start'. I'm already in the part where I finally joined the guild, but how come I can't recruit any of my human friends which I have made in all? Is there a point in the game wherein they'll all be available for recruitment w/o having to recruit them manually?

What? I got the Dragon Lair once already... I beat the Ethereal Queen already. For the first time I ever played Radiata Stories, I finished the Non-human Path. I forgot how I was able to start a new file, but I saved a New Game+ on my Non-human Path and loaded (All my money and skills were still there). That's when I built up for the Human-path, and got the Dragon Lair thing. I finished the Human-path. I loaded the 'Strong From Start'. This is my third playthrough, so how do I get Dragon Lair?

But i like ridley and dont want her to die in the second part. and the non humans did not do anything really bad to the humans. they did not deserve it.. but i wanted to stay in the city. every thing just sucks. this is a great game. i loved it so much. gah. i hated to choose the paths. grr. the enddings also disappoint me too, though the Non human one made more since.

I only read up on the fireworks event after it happened, so I didn't even know what was going on. ^^; I was always my own healer, so Lily was my date by a comfortable margin.
This ending is SO much better. I appreciate the whole Jack/Ridley dynamic and the balance of the cosmos and everything, but seeing everyone happily going about their business was far superior to coming back to a damn ghost town.

This ending made me cry man. It isn't fair that Jack and Ridley can't express their love. The ending was really good...watching Jack go off on his own to unknown lands.
