@uneksija666 He curses, curses and then curses some more. Somewhere in the middle he says (not a literal translation): "Frost, you will not touch my home farm again!" It seems his crops have been spoiled because of the frost.
It's hard being a Finn and trying to live a happy life, because our parliament is constantly working on destroying our country and people. For example signing the Ottawa mine treaty is a serious treason, they are taking away our means to defend this country. This country is growing its debt and still spending money on development aid, idiotic immigration policy, and everything else.
You find this attitude very rarely anymore in the capitals of Finland, they have been moulded by the global media agenda to be metrosexuals, opposite of everything that defined men back in the day in here..But in the smaller towns, the spirit is still alive and well..

The Finnish sisu isn't about swearing. It is about completing very hard tasks, without giving up. Sometimes a Finn (like me) can drudge all night long, just to get one hard and annoying task done, because we dont feel like prolonging the frustration by doing the rest of that job tomorrow. Of course swearing is side effect of that frustration from hard work.
@kaahaajaFIN i agree its do it well or dont do it at all but on the the other hand sometimes ill just split wood by hand and stack it to relax because its a mundane chore stevem koski@gmail.com AKA poikakoski
An increasing number of young people in Finland are considering sex change operations, according to a gay rights organisation. Seta, which arranges tests and consultations for people who think they are transgender, said interest in sex change procedures has risen dramatically over the past three years
The very essence of being a Finn is that even when you look outside and see the warm, gentle sun; the children laughing and playing on the meadows; hear the birds around you sing for the first time in spring or experience your first, passionate kiss with the love of your life, all you can think is vittu perkele.

@reallyfullofmyself I don't really care what others think that mutch. Im as mutch finn as im swedish and I want to move to finland. @fantadigkvinna well, not caring what other people think and trying to make a life among people that look down on you and will not make friendship with you for ten yrs constant, are two different things. Wish you better luck with life here then, a word of friendly advice is though that don't make too much of a noise about where you have lived. sweden is becoming an islamist country, i know, they're not far behind here either though..
@reallyfullofmyself Still the country in europe with least immigrants. That sounds really hard for you, but there's about 5 million people in Finland (correect me if im wrong), and i think i can find at least one or two friendly people :) ..The finnish people i've met have been verry nice to me. its worse in sweden where people dont like you beacuse you think its to manny immigrants, then youre a rasist here and get into fights every day.. not verry nice.
@fantadigkvinna i have not said there isn't one or two friendly people..there are many more then that.. I go over to Sweden quite a lot and am totally aware of what goes on there as far as immigration and racism is concerned, and it is very sad indeed.. I just happen to think that you have a lot of illusions about Finland that are not correct..This is not the promised land. Finns are real racist too. But as i said, i wish u all the best. Goodbye
Its part of our culture. I'm so angry when people is trying to make us swear little less. No other language has so much ways to express when they are angry, happy, hurted or anways FEELS something.
Going to a concert where Finnish bands are playing (Korpiklaani, Ensiferum, Kalmah, Sonata Arctica, etc.) my girlfriend (finnish) tries to convince me that not all Finns swear. At the soundcheck of those bands you could always hear: "Vittu, vittun vittu, saatanan perse, Skeida, paska...!"
Funny thing how this add would make 90% of ppl in "Modesty media" Cry in agony and rip their eyes and ears out because of the profanity amount. This add has more swears than any freaking movies in its short 0.22 duration than ANY So called "mature language" - movies (not the pron movies ofc ><)
anyone who does not know (but think they know): jussi dried out swamp itself a field just a hoe, and with the Finnish sisu (it gives ojitetaan and trenches is a man syvysiä) and barely know But you can guess how hard work it is. and the story is true!
without SISU we Finnish are nothing!

So what if finnish people swears so much?
Its part of our culture. I'm so angry when people is trying to make us swear little less. No other language has so much ways to express when they are angry, happy, hurted or anways FEELS something.
Perkele!

Looking at her afterwards was priceless.
