I'm going to dance this part of the music of giselle :) of course we have easier steps :) it stills really tired to dance it hahaha and yeah it sound slower here I guess is because its live music and tthey just dont do it exactly the same everytime they play it :)

  • I wonder where you guys get these videos from? lol They're awesome!

  • the crossing chug part of this ballet is amazingly hard to do and they pulled it off wonderfully. ive tried the willis part of this ballet

  • the music seems a bit slower than usual

  • Yes, and the bit starting at 7:22 sounds so much better when it's played faster

  • its Teatro Alla Scala de Milan not ABT

  • this...is gorgeous.

  • Great performance! Next June I will dance this! I'm so happy..!

  • Great performance!!

  • huuum...É Scala de Milão, não é Americano

  • Okay i am learing the steps to but they need to put the origenal (what ever) step!

  • excelente!!!

    thnx 4 posting this

  • beautiful. One of the best performances of Giselle. Also great dancers.

  • circa 4:13 is horrible, she cannot keep her balance ((

  • thats how it is supposed to be!

  • NO, it is not supposed to be. Look at the way she is landing. See it?

  • I think I know how to do ballet more then you.

  • well, hon, I've danced for over 18 years, so shush :-) But come on, look at her spins at 4:02 or so. Se when she lands in fifth? Well, she tilts forward and then readjust herself.

  • sharmenhope, you crack me up! 1st, ballerinas turn, they do not spin. 2nd, those are assemble turns which is a jumping turn. 3rd, this ballet is from the Romantic Era of the 1800s, so yes, she is doing them right to lean her body so. Thanks for the comic relief!

  • well, i agree with you, but 1) they're pirouettes, not turns 2) it's called assemble en tournant en l'air and yes it's from the romantic era but the leaning is entirely choreographic.... Giselle is a staple ballet that is known the world over. any idiot knows that this is what it's supposed to look like.

  • dude your pathetic.

youve danced 18 years of your own way of ballet.

    come on now .

    this is abt.

and until you dance with them.

lets keep your 18 years of expierience to yourself =]

  • actually... it's not ABT.... it's La Scala Ballet.

  • call it whatever you went.

they effort, and time, and rehearsals, and hard work it took them.

    they deserve no negative comments.

  • 4:02, when she turns a few times

  • you are really stupid.

  • Lovely video, however it's the ballet of La Scala in Milan and not ABT.

  • thx for posting this!!I'm learning the steps from Giselle=]it helps a lot^U^
