  • Whoa! 2-3 hours in my experience is NOT enough time! Look on the back of the turkey you bought, take that time and add 2 hours. A meat thermometer really helps.

  • @opl500 Thanks for the great tip! Thanksgiving can be a hectic time, so planning ahead and giving yourself enough time is essential to a smooth sailing evening and a delicious dinner!

  • Best time to buy a turkey is approximately the 2nd week in December, when they put all the turkeys they didn't sell in November at half price. You don't strictly have to remove anything, if you're doing it for the first time, just make sure it's thawed by the directions and stick it in the oven.

  • wakk as turkey, really, what happen to all the dry fruit the butter... this one seems flavorless...

  • this looks soooo amazing!

  • Just thought i should say i've been watching The Hot Plate videos since the beginning & i love every single one. Keep up the great work! I always help my mom with the cooking for TG(:

  • This recipe actually looks doable! Good job!

  • Total classic yumminess!! Sighhhh if only it really took only 5 minutes to cook all that. lol ; )

  • @Traveler2112 I know then people would be far less concerned about hosting...at least you can learn how in just 5 minutes though :)

  • @TheHotPlate1 I've never seen that where you put the butter under the skin like that. Im sure that makes it incredible and helps it keep moist too. I also liked the lemon idea in the stuffing. I've always loved that little extra bite the lemon and lime can add to foods.
