Really nice review, I'm a big Sailor Moon fan actually and despite how badly the dub did screw things up, if it wasn't for that dub, I wouldn't love Sailor Moon like I do now. I was aware of all the changes you mentioned EXCEPT Fisheye. That one did surprise me actually but being older now, I was well aware of what the changes were so it didn't bother me as much since I knew the truth.

I also 100% agree on all the complaints you listed, specially RINI! That little snot rat.

By the way do you watch all of the anime series that you get requested. Do you watch the original Japanese Version or the English Dub or some other Language dubbed. Do you review the manga vs anime of the animes that you review or just anime's & dont take into account the manga or do you take into account the manga as well but not much into your anime reviews. She was the coolest sister ever, she let me sit with her and we'd watch Sailor Moon, Yu- Gi Oh and loads of other cartoons. To me, it was all just cartoons really. I think Sailor Moon for a lot of people is the Anime that started it all! I first saw it when you could Rent it at a BlockBuster and it was English dubbed so I had no idea it was a Japanese cartoon. When I got older and realized it I was sooo happy that I watched the originals (subbed of course) and fell in love with Anime! Where I live there is a comic book store filled with Sailor Moon Stuff and it just opened! So happy!!!!!

Ah, Sailor Moon, one of the rare animes equally adored by both boys and girls. I certainly did and this comes from horror/sci-fi fan. XD

Oh, personal thought of mine. IMHO Sailor Moon should have a power metal soundtrack.

I Loved sailor moon ! Did 4kids dub it? I bet they did cause all the animes what 4kids get they cut so much out. Take yu gi oh GX, Pokemon and the newest yu gi oh Zexal. They make a kids shirt longer cause it was short :/

Ahhh, Tanime-chan, I do love it when you do a review that makes me smile because I completely agree!! The differences between the Japanese & English versions is -nuts-. I did know about Uranus and Neptune, as well as the other guy. but I didn't know about fish eye O_O There is soooo much that drives me crazy about this anime, and yet I still, to this day, watch it on occasion. I was quite little when i say Sakura Cardcaptors, but since i'm in latin america they didn't censor anything and to be honest i didn't really mind Syaoran having a crush on the same guy as sakura, i found it unusual but it was quite funny and entretaining at times. People underestimate kids SOO much, for the most part all the censorship is justified in the name of children but it has nothing to do with children cause kids honestly don't give a fuck
