has anyone heard about the apple navigation thats suposed to be coming out in 2011 i hear its suposed to blow pioneer and all the other nav dvd systems out of the water but i can't find nothing on it. a friend of mine saw an add for it at the apple store.
Not a word. But Pioneer did come out with an iPhone app for use with the AVIC Z110BT. It's free, so I downloaded it but have not taken any time to figure out the details of what it does.

so i'm sure this is gunna sound retarded but what is the bypass for. does the system lock the dvd playback while driving or somethin? please answer back asap cause i want this system and will get the bypass if thats the case. and how much does it cost?
You are locked out from playing a DVD while driving, and rightly so -they don't want drivers to be distracted. I didn't do it for myself, just my passengers.
Do a search on YouTube for AVIC Z110BT bypass and you will see. It doesn't cost anything.

i think just hook up the YELLOW (BRAKE) wire to negative ground , its not hard and no cost at all. like i did in my xdvd8180
