  • @ Hossrex: What do you mean? Analog B&W printing is what this guy does and it's exactly the same as what Ansel Adams did. They are not different by any means. My point is that there's nothing you will learn from a 1:15 minute video. Traditional B&W printing requires a solid knowledge and understanding of the photographic proces (and I don't mean Photoshop).

    I've been printing in a traditional darkroom for years and can tell you from experience that I'm still learning everyday.

  • "Why can't I make a good print?!" Well, because nobody will learn a thing from the videos this man is doing. It's really a waste of time. Better read Ansel Adam's book "the print" .

    They're two completely different sorts of photography. You might as well have said "no one will learn anything from Picasso! You're better off studying Renoir."
