Well I just gently Pushed him down to the floor the first few times after awhile he figured out that's what i wanted him to do but he doesn't like to do it and my other cat didn't like to either for some reason.

i had a seal point himalayan, and i taught him to shake hands and roll over. it was easy to teach him. he died 8 years ago though.
