I'm mostly into electronic music and stuff like that but I remember when this album came out and I will never regret that I bought it. It was absolutely stunning back then and it's still ONE OF the best metal albums out there. Blacky's voice is the pure essence of awesome, and even though the album is 27 years old it doesn't sound out of date like so many other albums from the same time. I love it! :-)

This was in those pre-Slippery When Wet days when metal bands were supposed to play METAL! What caused metals decline in popularitiy wasn't Cobain, it was the fact that every hard rock and metal band had to have a Air Supply sounding ballad on their album to get on MTV.

That and the 90's were PC hell! Pearl Jam kicked out their drummer for "flirting" with girls, for christ sake! Even though the then Prez, a liberal icon, could give Tommy Lee a run for his money in sexual depravity.
