  • THIS IS MY LAST REMARK ON THE MATTER. I am presenting the situation in general. MY VIEW IS THAT YOU ARE THE LUCKY FEW. majorite moun pakapab manje nan peyi haiti. THIS IS NOT CRACK TALK OR IGNORANCE. THUS, MY USE OF THE WORD INDECENT in this context remains .

Creole pale, creole komprann...

  • With all due respect, JUST BECAUSE A FEW can afford such pleasures does not change my argument .I'm referring to people who actually reside in Haiti. ( not visitors) or Diaspora, who can come spend money and then leave. I guess it is TOO DIFFICULT TO ACCEPT THE REALITIES OF OUR COUNTRY. if my comments are ignorant, so be it. THEN SWEET DREAMS.

  • With Haitians like you Haiti doesnt need enemies. My uncle and aunt reside in Haiti, my uncle is a high school professor, his wife has a sewing shop. They use to live in the city of Cap-Haitian now they build a mansion in the country side she turn the house in the city into a sewing school.

  • They have 3 kids, dont have relatives in foreign countries sending them money, the last time they left Haiti was in the early 70s to go to Canada for they honeymoon. They have no desire to leave Haiti.

Stop bashing on Haiti and Haitians who are trying, if you dont have something positive to say about Haiti dont say nothing at all.

  • I am Haitian, and aware of the fact that we used to have what you refer to as a middle class. The sad reality is that this "middle class" has shrunk in recent years. The cost of living in Haiti today is discouraging, even for those with a job or small business. Therefore my point remains. On the whole, even within the middle class, how many can truly afford to attend a Jazz Fest ??? In this context the term INDECENT has its place in my comment.

  • kiko0523: You say your haitian, but I don't beleive you, your just too ignorant... Don't you know that a lot of those people who can afford these pleasures are haitian's who live in the U.S., canada, france etc. and go back home. I myself own a mansion in the mountains of petion-ville, because I earned my money in the U.S. and spend a portion in the haitian economy. I attend these events and eat in restaurants..when when I go home several times a year. So I guess that's INDECENT huh...

  • ohh and i should ask that i knew over 20 people that got in, High schools friends that still live in haiti, so we are not talking about diaspora or visitors. Finally, tele image is doing a great job, trying to keep up to date the diaspora that still cares about haiti. And it's youtube man where most videos posted are like less than 10 mm long. So seriously man, after you smoke crack just dont choose to watch tele image if it is so UNREAL for you, because you just making a fool of youself.

  • DON'T YOU ALL FIND THIS NEWSCAST IS UNREAL. ???? it reflects the disconnect and disparities that make up this country. within 15 min, you go from starving boat people, to administrative chaos, to a wannabe Jazzfest. HOW MANY HAITIAN CAN AFFORD TO GO TO A JAZZ FEST THESE DAYS. I know that some will think I'm an idealist. BUT THERE IS SOMETHING INDECENT ABOUT ALL THIS

  • Wow you know so much about Haiti, you don't think we have working class, middle class, rich Haitians in Haiti, don't believe the media hype. Haiti is a society like all societies. we can afford a Jazzfest, you should really check madi gras in Haiti Its all that and basket of coconut.

This is simply the highlight of the program compressed in 15mins for the web.

  • what the hell are you ALKING ABOUT.

  • Kiko0523: Your showing your ignorance and your obviously a believer of the propaganda that has been spewing from outsiders and foreigner's for decades now.. Have you ever been to haiti ??? clearly your not haitian..Haiti is just as diverse as the U.S. or any other country... I have literaly stepped over homeless people walking down the street in haiti and in the same stride have a 2008 S600 pass right in front of you crossing the street.. so educate yourself before you speak..

  • first of all, about educating yourself, here is one for ya. Unreal's definition is something that only exist in the imagination, it does not exist on the real life. So are you on Crack? because this video according to everyone else is real. It's actually on youtube. And i don't know about you but in any big news cast the news is presented in this order: The breaking news first than the less important. So what kind of crack are you doing man because you are really upside down.

  • Second: you said you are Haitian but i don't think you know anything about haiti. I grew up in haiti and move to canada 4 years ago. The last time i went to haiti was last december, and you will be suprise about how many people can pay for a jazz fest. My parents Leave in Laboule's mountains, and look man, my friends invited me to a party and believe it or not the ticket was $100 Us and i bought one, but i couldn't even get in, too many people. It was sold out. So go educate yourself again...

  • Je veux dire merci a` les pays amis comme brazile, chilie, Argentine, Mexique.. ils sont tres reconaissants.

  • kie la ri a.. kote pou yo ale? men Ayitisyen pa tande moun vre lol

  • Gade mize` nou non papa... Bondye ki konnen

  • oh! bondye ..... se paske lakay pa bay moun ap plede ale nan peyi moun.. si peyi mwen te bon mwen pa t'ap rete nan peyi fredi sa non
