  • As the anniversary of Michelle's passing comes near, this video reminds us of what a beautiful person she was and how wonderful it was to have known her. If you didn't know her, the video portrays her as the loving caring passionate woman she was. I miss her too and always will. Thanks for sharing this powerful tribute!

  • Hello! I live in Florida, and also in high school. My English teacher read Michelle's essay to us today. It was amazing. My teacher told us a bit about her, and I am deeply sorry for your loss. My class sat in a stunned silence for a few moments, prossesing what had been read and said by the teacher. That was the first time we had been quite all period. I came to see if I could find out more about more this.... It made me cry. This was so sweet of you to do!

  • This makes me cry alough i didn't know her i just wish i did x

  • Thank you Aarti i watched it in memory of her on her birthday so beautiful!

  • i hate this city because burlington let this happen!

  • Aarti, this video captures the real Michelle we knew- albeit so briefly. Heartbreaking but "real" (funny, sad, goofy,serious-the MGQ qualities we loved, even the oversleeping!) tribute to the woman she was and what she becoming. We carry her with us! xxoo

  • I live in Burlington. Rest in peace Michelle. I wish I had the chance to even meet such a nice, caring person.

  • although i don't know her, but i cried becuase this video is so beauitiful you did a great job Aarti.

  • I am a freshman girl at UVM, who grew up in Burlington. I can't help but cry when I watch this video from my dorm room, with my laptop covered in tears. In dedication to Michelle, I plan to be more environmentally aware.

  • I am a second semester Junior at UVM. I transferred to UVM the same time Michelle did and we both transferred from Goucher College and we were both Environmental Studies majors. She is an inspiration to us all.

  • What a beautiful tribute to Michelle. Aarti, you share Michelle's personality and spirit in a very touching way. Thank you for making this wonderful video!

  • She went to my pool, lived down the street...

  • That was an amazing video. R.I.P Michelle.

  • I didn't have the oppritunity to meet Michelle. Her life has touched so many people. It seems that all th good people in the world people in the world (like Michelle) are just.. dissapearing. Rest in peace.

  • I never knew you Michelle. But your life, and your life's purpose has touched me in so many ways. When the time comes...I'm looking forward to meeting you. 'Till then.....Joe A. -Burlington Resident for 8 1/2 years.

  • This is beautiful. God rest her soul.

  • i miss you so much michelle

  • Aarti -

I was sent this by a former teammate of Michelle's.

I coached Michelle from the time she was about 10 years old, and knew her and her parents quite well. This was a very nice tribute, and says a lot about her and the people that surrounded her. All of us miss her as well, and think of her often.

  • This truly was the most realest and most beautiful video EVER. I'm sorry for your loss, I read her story in cosmo just the other day. It's a very sad thing, may she Rest In Peace. Wish I could have known her, she seems like such a great person. God Bless!!

  • All I can think of beyond the depth of embarrassment we feel as a state--is just how much courage her parents showed and continue to give.

They put so much hope in their effort and so much kindness toward Vermont in their responses.

  • A beautiful tribute to a fallen angel. May Brian Rooney, A sick scumbag redneck piece of shit , of Richmond Vt, rot in hell.
